An error was made with my order, and after 1 email, I got an immediate response and correct order received next day. Excellent customer service and very impressed with product.

Have waited a few weeks before posting my review to ensure I had enough experience to share. Initially, easy, prompt and professional ordering and communication regarding delivery.
Product itself is nothing like I’ve used before. It is thicker than most so I tend to use at night only. It smells great, it feels nourishing and has successfully addressed all the itchy dry skin I had on my face.
I had a number of compliments at a social event recently over my skin glowing and how well I looked. At 1st I hadn’t considered why and later (thanks to my husband’s reminder) realised that my skin is obviously looking healthier and ore youthful. At nearly 54 I’ll take that and will for sure continue using this from now on.
I’m guilty of not yet using the body one, I put it away and forget but I do plan to. I’ve given some jars away when 1st purchased which I now regret.
I’ll be buying from now on and have already decided this will be gifted to friends for Christmas as we are all of similar age.

Excellent customer service, swift response to my query and a quality product

I suffer with dermatitis and have used all sorts of stuff, i still get flare ups but this balm completely gets rid of the dry flakey skin completely, really recommend it i haven’t used the prescription cream i have in well over a year now great product. Customer for life thanks 🙏

Shortly after receiving my order, I needed to get in touch with the customer service team. I did this by email, and I immediately received an acknowledgement - it was good to know my query had been received, and know the timeframe in which I could expect a response. The team answered my query very promptly thereafter, and I was very impressed with not only the fast reply, but the attention to detail within it. Great to see that customer service is considered key, and wonderful to see this Uk company gaining traction in this market with their natural products.

Tallow & Raw Honey Face Balm says it is unscented but then why does it smell like old milk? Enough to make me gag. Like the smell of an old carpet that's not had milk cleaned properly from it. False advertising and especially annoying when the price is so expensive, you would expect it to be unscented like it is sold to be.

I so wanted to love this product. However, despite following guidelines and suggestions for use, it’s way too heavy and the smell makes me nauseous. The face balm is still mostly sat on my face the morning after the night before, I see no change in my overall appearance. Maybe my skin was already at its’ optimum moisture wise? The body balm is just terrible, my neighbour’s dogs won’t stop trying to lick my legs! I smelled like lard, it didn’t fade until I washed it off (with plenty of soap, it was so greasy). It also just sat on my skin, I used it in the morning and in the evening it was still leaving marks on the furniture - all this and I’d only used around half a teaspoon. I looked into returning the product, but like a d!ck I didn’t read the small print - I’d bought a bundle and they only refund for a single jar purchase.

They sent the wrong order for starters. There wasnt any freebies included as promised. The product leaves a greasy feeling on the face which lasts the whole day and becomes uncomfortable. It would also appear that it is a Chinese product and not Scottish as remarkably similar products can be found on Temu and Ali Express and also Amazon all at much cheaper prices. I cant help but feel I have been conned.

Really disappointed with this product as definately not suitable for sensitive skins. Within minutes of applying the balm, my face felt as if it was on fire. I had to wash it off immediately; my skin remained red and sore for hours.I'm gratefull absorbtion was pooras I wouldn't have wanted the balm to go deeo into my pores.

Forget every other moisturizer for your face & body & just buy from this company!
The body balm not only smells beautiful, it's really effective - you initially think it's going to be greasy but the skin just drinks it up, leaving a slight sheen which looks lovely. You can get dressed immediately without worrying about residue & your skin feels soft & supple for hours.
The face balm is also excellent. I use it morning & night on my face & neck & I can see that I look better, also had many family & friends comment on how well I look (for someone who's had chronic ill health for many years, this isn't something I'm used to hearing)
The brown 'age spots' on my face have definitely lightened which is a marvellous added benefit - I've spent hundreds of pounds on so many products in an attempt to get rid of them, none of which have ever worked!
It's also a lovely base for make-up so no more need for expensive primers.

Really noticed an improvement in my skin condition. Loved the fact you don’t need much to provide good hydration.

I do like the product feel good on the face but for me it too expensive for me to buy every month

Great product, works very well

I had a product query and so I emailed and within a few hours I had a personal reply .. not just some automated rubbish .. but a proper considered and understanding reply to my concern. A person by the name of Gelou helped me - fantastic service .

I ordered the body balm and the smell on my skin after an hour was very unpleasant and I really felt very unclean with the tallow smell. Initially it smells nice. But wears off quickly.

Contacted NX1 about the smell and they agreed to refund me.

Love the mandarin silk face balm. I’m really beginning to feel the difference after using for a couple of weeks.
For me, the unscented face balm has a faint but slightly unpleasant smell and so I will use up on my legs and feet so it’s not too near my nose. Good to see that’s there’s now an orange scented body balm. I might recommend the scented versions if you have a good sense of smell.

Works really well but the smell is the problem.
I purchased the unscented but it smells of lard. Ive added a scent to it but the smell is still there .
Despite adding a scent to it , it still smells of lard .
