OakMax Limited Avis 

Good quality oak and great value for money would recommend.

Had to wait longer than advertised for delivery and when the timber came it was all rough cut and different sizes also looked like it had been stored in a mucky field.

Great products, price, service and communication.

Oak Posts and Boards. There was some delivery issues and some lack of communication regarding the courier company, but Oakmax were very good at sorting it out. The re-arranged delivery was at my time and the Oak was delivered as requested. The Oak does come slightly oversize from the mill. Does need finishing to size. Good timber though.

On this occasion the materials arrived 12 days late, very little feedback on the delivery and had to chase Oakmax to get any information multiple times.

Couldn’t be happier. We needed 20 sleepers to be delivered to a church rest garden open to public. Due to heaviness and distance to the site the delivery time had to be precise, making sure two heavy lifters could be there to receive them. Oakmax and their hauliers did their best to make it happen and it was so.

Update regarding sleepers: they were perfect for a large raised bed which has now been completed and looks very stylish and sturdy.

Just very easy to deal with and the product was as expected

Received the oak planks in a very poor state, ends virtually rotten, splits running through some, had to plane and sand down before use.
This has happened more than once won't be using this company anymore.

Delivery was 1 week later than advised. Oak posts come damaged / defective.

Easy to order, brilliant prices and excellent product. Collection service was a bonus for us as it's a local company so no delivery fees.

Still not delivered so can’t comment on the product, just the £100 for delivery that’s not here three weeks later

only dropping 5star as a couple of the boards had bigger splits than i would have liked (but its a natural product so not surprising and well below the 10% over order any good diyer would account for!)

Communication with Oakmax was less than satisfactory. Delivery was longer than stated. The quality of my purchase was in essence very good except one ,2.4 x 150 x 50 mm was unusable, and another piece had to be sourced locally

Overall happy, product good, collect convenient and communication good.

Straightforward oline ordering at a great price, and good customer service to keep me updated with dispatch.
No prior notice to materials arriving which could have been problematic, but overall a good experience and would consider using again.

Quality of product is great, but the communication about the delivery date was not followed up, but this was the delivery company and not Oakmax themselves.
