They recommended Naltrexone and it…
They recommended Naltrexone and it almost killed me. I took my first dosage and my blood pressure soon spiked to 182/80. Per ChatGBT this is a medical emergency. I did not go to the hospital and thankfully my blood pressure eventually dropped back to normal. I wanted to return my 89/90 pills and get a refund and they hid behind their terms of service. This product can be life threating and you should beware! Ps. Oar issued a refund. A quality company stands behind their product and in the end Oar did just that. I wish this product worked for me.

The hard part was taking the initiative to sing up. The process of joining Oar was simple and it has had a positive impact on ny life. I was a daily drinker that took down at least 3 liters of whiskey a week. Within days of starting, I was able to manage the urges. I am two months into the program, and I am to the point that my cravings are few and far between and I rarely act on them. I highly recommend this program.

I wanted to share a quick check-in because my first month with Oar Health has completely changed things for me. Honestly, I don't normally leave feedback, but I feel a real responsibility to share this in case it helps someone else who is struggling with alcoholism.
It has been exactly one month since I started taking the medication, and I have basically stopped drinking entirely. The constant cravings and "alcohol noise" are just gone. I feel absolutely amazing, both physically and mentally.
The online process was incredibly simple and judgment-free, and having the medication delivered right to my door made taking this step so much easier. For years, I didn't realize there was a tool like this available to help manage the medical side of addiction. It works
I drank controllably off and on since 19. Now 44. It became an issue in my older years. Recently was getting out of hand. Causing issues at work, home, and with everyone I really came in contact with. Couldn’t really take time off of work to go into rehab. So I thought this was worth a try. Started just over a month ago with the intention to quit all together. I noticed after taking the first dose the urge wasn’t there the next day. Definitely felt the side effects. Severe nightmares for about two weeks, headaches were there. But the urge was definitely gone. Haven’t had a drink yet and don’t plan on it. I was skeptical at first but am very pleased and happy with the turnout. Have recommended a couple friends who have admitted to wanting to stop or slow down.

Never Too Late!
I appreciate how easy & discreet the initial process was to get started. The checking in has been very consistent. I have totally stopped drinking since starting Naltrexone, which has been amazing. I don't know how prevalent this medication is in the medical community, but it should be. This info also needs to be readily available to the public. For someone such as myself, you struggle with drinking, but not wanting to do a 30–60-day treatment facility. I am 60 plus years old and it is never too late to make major life changes.
