This product helped start me on the process of stopping drinking after 50 years.

I am very happy with my recovery. I never made it this far by will power alone. I am continuing to do a slow taper because at six glasses of wine daily I was at rick of withdrawl. The side effects the first week were hard, very light headed and dizzy but these are not resolved.

I went from obsessing over wine to really not wanting it in a week. We are going to a football game tonight, usually I would buy a lot of wine and drink before leaving for the tailgate, drink at the tailgate and during the game. Right now I have no urges to drink at all. I am so thankful!

The medication is extremely effective and I would recommend this program to anyone who’s looking for assistance. The only issue I had was with the side effect of nausea and unfortunately, I was not able to overcome that so sadly had to discontinue use. Still a great program with great support.

My experience with Oar Health has been great so far - I'm only 17 days in. I've been drinking much less and had one set back but feel that I'm noticing a difference physically and mentally. I think that the mental part is more difficult than the physical. I'm feeling motivated to keep going and looking forward to a future that does not have alcohol as a central part of my life. It was very easy to get started. I started 4 1/2 weeks ago, and haven’t had a drink since. There have been a few fleeting moments of wanting to drink, but they have been quickly and easily ignored. I no longer fixate on wanting alcohol drink when I get home.

Oar does a great job of coaching and interacting. Oar is very well aware of the challenges faced with excessive drinking.

It has been 30 days since taking Naltrexone. I have to say it has been extremely effective for me. I have not had a craving for that 5:00pm drink that I had become accustomed to every day. I am feeling better, clearer and as a result of not drinking, my eating habits have changed. I didn’t want to quit altogether, but I had to have a different relationship with drinking. Oar health and the community has given me a new option to change the way I was viewing and being controlled by drinking.

I truly have less of a desire to drink. It's awesome!

I don't feel the medicine has faised me so far. I am more aware of my drinking amounts, but not feeling the effects of the drug.

I drank for close to 40 years. Many of those years, I was the one to drink another under the table. The last decade it was just habit. If I wasn't at work I had a drink in hand. Took the medication every day. The first week sucked with side effects from medication. I was still drinking during this time but around day 6 I noticed I was not receiving joy, buzz, warm feelings, relief, drunkenness, you name it. I thought whats the point of drinking if I receive no pleasure. Tested this assumption about day 12 and still no pleasure/fun. Now I tell myself about the positives of this change. It still feels a little weird because I'm not that guy now when it's been a main part of my life/identity for 3/4 my life.

I was excited to start this product, the clutch product, after a few weeks it really is not helping me cut back,
Might not make the drink taste as good as it did for a short while, but does not cut my urge to keep on drinking
I told them about this and all I get back is a sort of AI answer that says talk to your provider . I answered that I thought they were my provider and that they were supposedly there to help. Am I taking it wrong,? is there something I can do different to make it work better? (other than the obvious of quit drinking so much.!) I wanted some help with some answers to help it work for me.
Next thing I know they canceled me!
Frustrating thing is they really didn't even try
But they're easy to take that big money!
My antenna was up when I went into this, but I was really hoping it might help me and others
So all that coaching, they supposedly offer and handholding and Help turned out to be Bullshit in my case!

This is the most practical and actionable program I've tried to reduce alcohol consumption

This has been an interesting and effective experience to date. It’s early in the process but so far I am very impressed and optimistic at the results so far.

I have been truly amazed at how well this medicine turns off the I want a drink voice. And if I choose to have a drink, because it’s a choice now, it’s very easy to stop at one. I have had very few side effects from the med. Maybe some tiredness. And taking it has not lessened my feelings of happiness like I was afraid it might. In fact I can say I am happier in general than I was.

I dot have that urge to drink anytime as I used to ! It has definitely helped me

I feel like I am supported and not judged, Naltrexone has helped me not suffer from alcohol addiction and I am living a great life! Counseling responds with meaningful insights and I am grateful!

I started taking Naltrexon a little over a week ago and have had little to no cravings to drink alcohol. It is working well for me and should for others. I felt a little queasy near the beginning but has since gone away. I want to thank Oar Health for the help to quit drinking.

I am 66, have been drinking since 10 on and off but very heavy at times. 12 beers a day for quite sometime. I needed to stop. I have my 8th grand child on the way so something had to end or I would drink myself to death. Oar has saved my life. Takes the edge off a lot. You do need some discipline. Oar has a nurse practitioner assigned to me. Answers all of my questions in a reasonable time frame. Never thought I would ever remove myself from alcohol. But my wife is behind me, loves me and supports this decision for sobriety. It’s a long road ahead. But I see light for the first time in my life. Looking forward not behind. Taking my Naltrexone pill every morning has kept me from craving drinks all day and evening. 12 days now without a drink and I feel so much better and clear-headed in the mornings. I’ve also lost 8 pounds. Best decision I’ve made in years. Thank you, Oar!
