Occam Defense Avis

Put the full length rail, irons, plus adjustable gas block on my wasr 10 and it ran very well throughout a 700rnd 1 day rifle class. Seems more accurate, still gets hot after a few mags obviously. Only a few very minor critiques:
- magnified optics are tough to use with this, a option for a looong well supported canteliver would be very nice so I don't need a ak rail mounted flip to side or mount a lvpo canteliver backwards for proper eye relief haha
- the nose of the rifle handguard if shortened about 1" or 2" would make adjusting the gas block MUCH easier, currently you need pliers to reach it (probably should have ordered a pistol length)
- it would be very nice if the top mlok slots had a little more space above the side's "ridge/step down" so more mlock accessories could fit there
- Quad rail pistol length would be awesome ;)

Overall this is by far the best rail for the AK, regardless of cost... Amazingly it is also one of the most reasonably priced, the only other "duty" grade option is the ultimak

Also the gas block is fantastic, found my settings and was pelting AR guys 20ft away in a very consistent spot ha. Irons are great too. Thank you for all the documentation!

I love this company, they keep making new upgrades I need that are difficult or impossible to find, and high quality at that. Legendary!

Occam Defense is simply the best in the business for modern AK platforms

While my barrel is out being populated, I'm not able to review the rail system. But, my first build is any indication the rail will work great! It's very easy to install, locks up tight and stays that way. It is the best free float rail on the market for the AK platform. Highly recommended!!

Great quality parts for my AKM build. Like all their stuff.

Great information on the webpage to help me with my purchase.
There was zero issues with fit and the rifle cycles flawlessly! Got Gods caliber in the Ruger American!
7.62x39 life, baby!!!

It was easy to install and every ak mag worked with it from steel to poly

Customer service was excellent, timely and responsive to my inquiries.

Great product, great help/tips and instructions with product! Followed shim guide for reciever and worked beautifully!

This magwell took my ruger ranch rifle to the next level. I’ve got under a grand into this whole build, scope included and it’s quickly became my favorite rifle. I recommend this ruger ranch/ ak magwell combo to anyone who has surplus of 7.62 laying around. Ive already dropped a coyote with it and plan to take a deer with it this fall.

Occam makes excellent products for very good prices!! US Made as well!
Every order has shipped quickly and the rare times I have needed customer service they have been extremely helpful, need more businesses like this!

Product is top notch and highest quality .
Answering e mail or picking up the phone does not seem your stronghold

The MERC is an excellent product, and takes any AK to modern levels in terms of feel and features.

Easy installation, decent price. Thanks.

Providing a product that made my rifle better in my eyes. Hope you could get Ruger to provide a bolt that would work with your mag well without using shims. Thanks for the product that allowed me to use my Ak mags with my Ruger American gen2 rifle.

Great customer service, great product, QC…. Very reasonable prices. Perfect match with the Galil 308.

Magwell fits easily.
