Fantastic chair. Got the height adjustable arms made of p-leather foam. OfficeChairs quickly responded to any questions I had about the chair before I purchased.

The service was first class. The owner of the company answered the phone even after he had left for the day and the communications were exceptional. I’d highly recommend them.

This chair is the best chair I have ever sat on. Even when I had problems with my back, sitting on this chair did not cause any pain to occur, as opposed to other chairs I had tried.

It started great. I bought a Herman Miller chair, but it didn't work well for me ( it's a bit too high ). I wrote to them, exchanging for a comfortable chair for half the price. All experience was pretty positive as i definitely been one of the more complicated clients because of the swap in the pandemic.

All good. Three years working and I couldn't complain. Unfortunately, after 3 years the plastic back support broke. Additionally, the "ass" cushion had a rip. Not a problem I thought. It's still under warranty. I remember making sure there was a long warranty as it was pretty important to me.

I wrote to customer support and was told that the warranty doesn't support it because it's wear and tear. I get a cushion, but the back support?

I read their warranty info and there's nothing really about what parts are covered. It's really broad just saying it doesn't cover wear and tear.

From customer support, I was told it really only covers the mechanics of the chair. That's not what I assumed. That's not what anyone would assume I think.

To be fair to them, they do have spare parts to buy which is not always available. It came to around 160 pounds and I could fix it all which is way cheaper than buying a new chair. Still, not sure why I have to pay for back support that frankly shouldn't have broken in this time if not that it's done from crap plastic.

Back support. The breaks are literally on the weakest point of plastic, on the part that gets the most force when you lean against it ( which it is supposed to be designed for ). I am accurate weight for the chair. It might be wear and tear, but that means that the part wasn't designed to withstand the test of warranty time.

The fact that the manufacturer doesn't cover it is kind of a moot point. Your site didn't say any of that. Sorry.

The chair had a long lead in time, but it was worth the wait. The product is exceptional.

My experience with purchasing a high-end Herman Miller chair from this retailer has been rather mixed.

Whilst the initial delivery of a pre-assembled chair was appreciated, the quality control left much to be desired. Within mere weeks, two internal bolts had worked loose and fallen out—a concerning development for a premium product.

Upon invoking the guarantee, I was surprised to discover that their warranty solution involved posting replacement parts for self-installation, with professional repairs incurring additional charges. This may have been in line with their warranty, and perhaps also appropriate after months of use, but the short lifespan of my chair may have indicated that it wasn't constructed properly and wasn't really 'fit for purpose' and therefore a more appropriate response could have been a replacement chair/free repair.

In the end, though, I did receive and fit the part myself - which was easier than I had thought - so, Office Chairs did what they said they would.

Fast delivery, good communication. I actually received a personal e-mail from the delivery team informing about delivering times and further details. They also called me on the day. Found it great. Assembled chairs in great packaging (not sure if it’s from the brand or store).

Perfect chair for my very tall partner. Four stars because it took a long time to arrive, longer than the 6 weeks I originally anticipated. I had paid upfront and was anxious. However the company delivered.

Delivery was as informed. The chair is probably the most comfortable (and adjustable) that I have ever used. I am well pleased with it.

As a private buyer, I initially ordered a chair via the internet, but was unsure about the chair dimensions.
As a result James Reid invited me to visit the company's warehouse in order to try out various chair combinations. Following this, I amended my order to a more suitable chair based upon my body shape and usage.
I was made to feel very welcome. I felt the advice I received was professional, fair, and impartial and I came away with a fantastic bargain.

Herman Miller Sayl chair is great, so comfortable for working. However, delivery was several weeks late, re-arranged several times and the driver refused to take the packaging. Communication around delivery scheduling was poor.
This is in contrast to ordering the same chair from WellWorking a few years ago who delivered the chair on time during a snowy pandemic lockdown, kindly showed me how to use the chair on the doorstep and took the packaging away. Will use WellWorking again but not OfficeChairsUK.
