Oxford street branch. Excellent customer service given by Ruby even though it was closing in 10mins.Greeted with a smile and asked how my day was. Cakes were given with extra care. Overall really good experience. Definitely recommend going there. I will definitely be going back.

Wigmore Street branch, where I go everyday is not only the best bakery/coffee shop in town - is also has the best staff at every level. It is a joy to enter to smiley faces every morning - ThanK You

Appalling service. Asked for a dark rye bread, male member of staff really put out, then asked if he could slice it, full on strop: humming and puffing, eye rolling... Clearly my request was a step too far!!! Very unprofessional and dismissive attitude. It was about 5:45 pm . I actually googled closing time afterwards as it made me doubt : had I over stepped the mark by entering shop at closing time? Nope closing time is 8 pm.
Not good enough.
Of course quality of bread and cakes remains unaffected by extremely poor customer care.

Hot chocolate is weak and cold and depressingly in a paper cup because the staff said they don't wash up after 5pm. They close at 6.30!

Soooo disappointed .. they have discontinued making their best cake the classic danish Truffle log in UK .!!! I emailed them directly and got a one liner .. they have discontinued

At Ken High Street I was virtually ignored. Finally managed to order but then staff disappeared for a gossip. I couldn't find anyone to pay. So left. No coffee.... Awful, grumpy staff. Definitely a miss.

Very poor recent experience which makes the number of negative reviews understandable. I have complained but it’s been ignored.

Went to the branch in Canary Wharf, Jubilee Place, and not only was the service unwelcoming, but the food was tasteless and oily (we got the mozzarella toastie and beach club). When we got our toasties they were falling apart and the cheese got stuck to the napkins which they were placed on. We couldn’t peel it off so we had to cut it off. The coffees were also watery, weak and luke warm and the people after us got their coffee before us. It’s a real shame as I love the one in Bond street, but this branch has much to improve on. I wouldn’t recommend.

Recently found your coffee shop in Windsor and I’m so glad I did. I’ve visited a few times over the last month or so. And it’s always a great experience. Im always greeted with a friendly smile. Particularly by the older blonde lady, who always seems genuinely happy to see you. She always gives great suggestions and great customer service. So pleased I discovered your great coffee, sandwiches and amazing pastries. Keep up the good work.

What a disappointment today in Kingston branch. Female member of staff shouted from the grill “can I help you” when I pointed out what roll I would like she said “chicken what?” I mentioned how I would like my coffee, she pointed at the barista and said “tell him”, the barista told me the flat white wasn’t mine, but it was, he was rude, the Customer behind me looked at me and raised her eyebrows. Rudeness at another level. I hate to think what they are like at busy times. Lots of staff but only two serving. If it wasn’t for the delightful cinnamon swirls I would rather go to Caffè Nero.

Went for breakfast in Ole & Steen cafe in Northcote Road. Saw a table outside. Waitress takes a cup of the table and doesn't wipe the table. Doesn't dry the wet bench either even though she has a gigantic roll of paper towels in her hand. Go in to get some napkins to wipe down bench but they don't have any. Food arrives, cutlery is piggin. Crusted bits of food on the knife and fork. How about some basic hygiene.

We recently went to the caffe and the food was amazing . We were served by shah and he was friendly and very welcoming to us.

We always visit on a Sunday morning for breakfast and have excellent and friendly service especially from Ricardo who has got to know what we like. The cheese rolls and coffee are our usual. The breads are designer quality and the coffee excellent this was Wigmore Street

Amazing food, cinnamon social is a MUST! They also do a very food vegan version - staff very friendly and coffee is delicious. Best in town
