Mickey one of the staff in the Guildford branch is always so friendly and welcoming , she is willing knows about the products and gives a really genuine personal touch.
Really fab offer for NHS workers - delicious food and good coffee 😃

I consider it a treat but today was just a disappointment. Uncaring staff, the coffee shop was a real mess no clean table even not a cup or plate to serve us. Poor. Location: Somerset House - London

As a regular I’m always made to feel very welcome by all members of staff when visiting your Oxford branch. Love the chicken roll / tuna and cheddar toastie with my coffee. When are they going to bring back the carrot and coriander soup it was amazing.

The coffee was alright, though not exceptional. I also bought what I think they called their breakfast bap or sandwich of bacon and egg or something like that name. I don't think I've eaten anything worse in my life. The "bacon" was some kind of pork mess slab thing. It was inedible. I offered it to a couple with a dog, but they refused, possibly from past. experience. I threw it away for the seagulls. I haven't noticed any dead birds lying about, so it may be gone by now. An astonishing product. I gave them one star because I can't give them less. I'm thinking about reporting them to the local health environment officer.

I went to the Ole & Steen Victoria nova store. The staff were so nice Berkay and Marcie served me they were so kind and friendly. Also Abu I met her she spoke to me and was very friendly. Loved the place the passion fruit cheese cake is out of the world got some for my wife and my friends and they all loved it. Also Shane or Sean the barista made nice cappuccino’s. All the staff were amazing I had such a lovely time special thanks again to Berkay Abu and Marice. The Que is a bit confusing if that can be organised better and maybe having 2 people doing the coffee machine will help during busy time.
Otherwise no complain a great place I have been to South Kensington branch as well really a great meeting place with great coffee cakes and sandwiches.

Went the Windsor branch and to be honest it’s a health risk and should be reported, appalling hygiene poorly trained staff who were more interested in chatting to each other than do a job.

Guildford branch is just dull as is the coffee and pastries

I visited today Westfield, Shepherds bush branch and was served by such a lovely kind guy (wish i could remember his name) was given 5 star service and so helpful!!! really impressed

Visited the branch in South Kensington today and ordered nearly £20 worth of coffee and food to eat in. We then tried to find a table but couldn’t as all the tables were taken up by people on their phones and laptops. For clarity, nobody at these tables were eating or drinking or “had just finished” as we waited nearly 10 minutes and could see that most of the tables didn’t have any used cups or plates and staff had not been out clearing the tables either. The male member of staff (bit of an attitude) said “nowhere to sit then”, so I mentioned that all the tables were taken up with people not eating or drinking and have been since we got here. He snapped “ I can’t ask them to leave, can I” (err, I think he probably could). We ended up pouring our drinks into takeaway cups and wrapping our hot food in napkins and leaving to find a bench to sit on. Shame really as the coffee was great and we would’ve ordered another drink and more food if we’d been able to sit down. Strange business model that people taking up tables to use their laptops and phones are prioritised over people actually wanting to use the place for what it’s intended, to eat and drink.

Went to the one near Oxford Street. An exceptionally nice young man, with good customer service.

Aaron at the strand is brilliant- friendly, helpful and polite - love this guy

Went to the one on Wigmore st for the first time and the employee, Shah, was great- I got the food so quickly and it was delicious

O&S Haymarket (also common in Victoria O&S)
I have been supporting O&S for a long time in London. Lovely food but today I was moved to writing this.

Watched 2 old people wander around looking for seats and leave because there isn't any. While 7 people, 5 together, 2 seperate on laptops, having been sitting for a very long time; no drinks or food ( one drinking his own drink) laughing and joking while others have no place to sit.

Slow, disorganized and staff even let a customer pick up 2 loaves of bread and return them so also unhygienic. Wont be using this dump again!

This place is calm, clean, tidy and organised. The staff are helpful, patient and friendly. The cakes are very special and the coffee is too.

Disappointing. Our order wasn't the one they delivered and when tried to complain, the guy didn't sound like he cares at all. ??? tried telling us to go to store and they'll give us the right one? Why order in the first place if we can go to the store anyways?.

Re my review of Ole & Steen, I did get a reply (see below) from them this morning, but consider it to be very inadequate (no apology for the way I was treated), and it doesn’t alter my opinion of their service or policies one bit.

I am sorry to hear of your experience in our Oxford store, Please be assured this has been passed on to the store manager and the Operations manager for this to be escalated throughout the team to ensure this doesn't happen again.

As far as I am aware to use these vouchers for the gold rings you would need to go through as if you are doing a click and collect order where a card would need to e attached to your app. This is where you would be charged £1. This then enables the voucher to though the till and be processed. We are now a cashless company, and all our staff are trained to be able to process these orders however please be assured this has been passed on to the team for this to be reiterated to them.

I had a coffee in the Belgravia store yesterday.
As always nice environment (apart from the dirty trays and cups I had to move from my table) and the coffee was very good.
My server, a young girl, was surly, rude, did not look at me and was preening herself in the reflection in the till while she took my order. She did not say please or thank you, picked up the phone as I was paying, talked for a while, then said to me 'I'll make your coffee in a minute' before disappearing to take the call. When she returned 5 mins later she did not acknowledge me or thank me for waiting, or apologise, just made the coffee and put it in front of me. 'there you go' she said in a flat tone without making eye contact. If she had been my staff member I would have sacked her on the spot. Get a grip Ole & Steen. Not good enough.

I love their food and drink, which is why I visit, however, since downloading the app, I have been collecting points and am eligible for £1 coffee. I have visited my usual store three days in a row to redeem the offer and every time I have been told to redeem this via click and collect. The t&C's clearly state this can be redeemed in store but for some unknown reason, staff are unable to redeem my offer on their till system.
In addition the click and collect doesn't allow you to select an alternative milk for my coffee.
