Olgish Cakes is a small artisan bakery in Leeds, founded by me, Olga, a professionally trained Ukrainian baker with a passion for traditional cakes. I moved to Leeds in 2022 and brought with me the recipes and techniques I grew up with in Ukraine. I specialise in making authentic Ukrainian cakes such as Honey Cake, Kyiv Cake and Napoleon Cake, all beloved classics with a long history in Eastern Europe. These cakes are made with care, using quality ingredients and time-honoured methods, to give you a truly unique experience. They are not just desserts, they are a little taste of Ukrainian culture. Each cake is beautifully layered, delicately balanced in flavour and made fresh to order. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, wedding, or simply want to enjoy something different with your afternoon tea, Olgish Cakes brings something new to the table. My dream is to share these traditional recipes with my new community here in England, introducing people to flavours many have never tried before. Having used Olgish Cakes for numerous family celebrations, I was absolutely delighted with the cakes they produced.
Olgish Cakes do really listen to their customers and their preferences and deliver the most stunning cakes made to highest quality, delicious taste and fantastic attention to detail.
My daughter came up with a complicated cake design, and Olgish Cakes made sure to listen and understand exactly what was requested and deliver the showstopper cake for her birthday party.
I would not hesitate to recommend Olgish Cakes to my friends and family.

Gluten-free cake is delicious
I ordered a gluten-free cake for my friend's birthday and it was highly important to all ingredients were fresh and had high quality. My ordered cake was made on time and met all my wishes and requirements. It was not only delicious but beatiful as well.

The Honey cake is absolutely delicious
I sampled Olga's Honey Cake at my local Farmers market, it was absolutely delicious so I bought a couple of slices straight away! Olga is an amazing baker and everything that she bakes is made with high quality ingredients, to a very high standard. I can definitely recommend Olgish Cakes for delicious, traditional Ukrainian Cakes.

Fantastic cakes
Fantastic cakes … it’s really nice to try something different and I’ve tried a few from here. Lovely owner, really helpful and even offered samples before we bought from her stall. Give them a try you won’t regret it 👌😄
