One Pound Sweets Avis 2 484

Although I ordered a box of sweets on Monday 30 September as of 5 October they have not arrived. The tracking link is singularly unhelpful wih no details of an expected delivery date. The item was delivered on 7 October a week after it was ordered.

Took week for delivery Great price and selection

Hasn't arrived yet and cant get hold of anyone to find out what is happening with this. This order is now urgent!!

BEWARE!!!
To say I'm very disappointed with their after sales service is an understatement.
I ordered X amount of sweets only for part of the order arriving.
I contacted them and they offered (although yet to receive)a partial refund.
This then made the order more expensive per item due to p+p costs remaining the same which I wasn't happy about and told them so.
They more or less said like it or lump it and we won't be offering you a refund or return postage costs. Very arrogant and unprofessional of a company that deals with the public.
I will never order from them again & will not recommend them to anyone.
Well done One Pound Sweets for being the worst dealings I've had with a company.
One only has to read the other reviews and their obnoxious replies, says it all.

I was looking for Smiths Snaps crisps and found this site with a very good deal and received delivery in good time! Will definitely order again!

Obviously I can hear from the tone of the email you’re not happy bit neither am I . It is your choice to use Amazon delivery not mine so perhaps you could check with them

I bought some large gold coins in preparation for Christmas. I emailed to confirm the size of the coins, but was disappointed that when they arrived they are smaller than stated and the image is different to that used on the website. I contacted them to say I wished to return but was told I could but wouldn't be refunded for delivery costs, either to me or to return. As this was mis advertised, I believe they should have rectified this for me without cost.

This was my first order with the company. I was a little apprehensive because of some negative reviews. However my experience was good. Delivery was as expected - after a few days.
I was pleased with all the products ordered. The best before dates for the crisps were all November or December so I did not experience the problem of some reviewers.
I will order again without the same concerns.

I have NEVER IN MY LIFE experienced such appalling and unhelpful ‘customer care’.
1. Wrong product sent
2. One bag unsealed and short weight
3. Fourteen x 100gm bags weighed 1350gm
I was told in three separate responses to my requests for support that I could return the lot at my own expense, and that I had the product that I’d ordered.
Screenshot of the ordered item online, photos of sweets on scales showing low weight & unsealed bag were disregarded. The reply, again, was ‘like I said, if you don’t want them…’ and more, to the effect that it was all tough luck but nobody was going to resolve any part of my complaint, including the matter of the unsealed, underweight bag.
What this company needs is a literate, diplomatic, interested and caring person to resolve complaints and leave a SWEET taste behind.
I cannot recommend Traditional Candy Co - One Pound Sweets or any of their affiliates. Good luck if you use them and have any issues after payment and delivery.
26.09.24 Update!
Having restated yet again my 3-part complaint I got the following response:
"Right I cant be bothered with you anymore.
We have refunded your order in full"
So there was success, of a sort, but tainted by the rudeness of the customer service person, who definitely needs a lesson in very basic manners!
I hope NEVER IN MY LIFE to experience anything like this again.

I bought Black Jacks and Fruit Salads. Many of those who bought these sweets from various other websites were complaining that they were well out of date. Others said they had a funny chemical taste. A number complained about the wrappings being almost impossible to unstick from the sweets inside. I had none of those problems. I am a very happy customer and will be back for more!
