DOESN'T WORK

IT SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK! Support answers once in two weeks with ready-made answers that do not correspond to your request.

I uploaded a EP and a single. EP was approved after 14 days even though description says up to 5 days to popular stores.

and now SINGLE IS STILL NOT APPROVED EVEN THOUGH IT IS ONE MONTH ALREADY

Don't waste your time, choose another distributor!

I regret having not come accross with these reviews before starting configuring my realease on their website and, especially, before reading their endless contract.

A total waste of time! I honestly do not know which are the criteria they use to reject original properly recorded music with original artwork. I really would like to understand that because it is nonsense to me.

Furthermore, if you ask for the reasons of the rejection, they only give you some vague template answers.

Make yourself a favor and use another digital distributor.

Our curators analyze the content according to the guidelines given to us by the digital platforms.

Most of the stores have pre-established rules that do not allow the distribution of content that may cause copyright conflicts with other artists.

These stores have a very severe phonogram recognition system, which sometimes creates a conflict even if the beat is not exactly the same as the reference they find.

Our system contains a program that searches for recognition in all material already published in stores, in addition, our team uses external programs such as AHA, to confirm recognition.

You won't know if you're fired, robbed or both

We published an album 6 years ago with not much trouble. When we presented ourselves with our new album this year the distribution process was very similar and going on (Spotify for artists was mentioning our upcoming release on our page). We had our account blocked for breach of the policy of the website and both albums are being taken down now. When we asked what had been breached, we received an evasive answer based on a copy/paste section of their terms and agreements and the ticket was closed.
We still don't know what is going on but we are facing being late for our release date and we can't do anything else with our account.
We can understand a disagreement might exist but then a precise explanation as to what is the problem and how to solve it must be given. We feel like being fired and robbed of our time.
This is very unprofessional and opaque, we cannot possibly recommend this service to anyone.

The worst support I've ever run into..

The worst support I've ever run into... We use several distros, depending on the features each one offers (spends, stores, release date...). And it's incredible the way they close tickets without giving you the chance to respond not even once. The answers are the FAQ ones they copy-paste, the ones we usually read before opening a ticket, and you end up asking them for some light.

You can't pick the stores where you want to deliver your releases in addition.

If anything goes wrong, you need to know what's going on. Otherwise, you're going to end up uploading an album over and over until you get the key. Nowadays, this waste of time and putting at risk the release date is not admissible.

Please Avoid Distribution With This Joke of a Distribution Company!

I hate this company simply because they reject a lot of material and don't give a reason why leaving the artist to figure it out for themselves which can be a real pain in the butt. And even once you figure out what may be the issue (by yourself), they still deny your material. I've distributed through CD Baby and also Amuse and never had the problems I've had with OneRpm. Their customer service is probably run by bots so you're always given some generic response when you reach out to them. They also forgot to distribute my music to Tidal in the past which I had to figure out later on and remind them to do. These kind of problems shouldn't be happening with a company that takes a bigger percentage from the artists.

Avoid this company, avoid the headache and go somewhere reputable. I prefer Amuse. Been a much better experience.

Great Distribution

I have distributed several videos with One Rpm and I must say that their service is good. There were some delays and / or small errors, but the support team was kind to help us resolve any issues. I want to give 5 stars (instead of 4) for encouragement.

OneRPM vs. everybody else

One RPM takes my calls, gave me a product manager, and has resolved EVERY ISSUE I ever had immediately, AND those issues were caused by me or the band trying to upload stuff. At which point our product manager sorted it out or at times just entered it himself with me on the line. I speak to him (our product manager) weekly at the LEAST. I MET with him last week, he MEETS with my band in Nashville, and did a whole personal seminar with us on how to be better at social media. They are VERY hands on. In fact, my artist got play listed DAY ONE with NO prior streams. I’m also certain that MOST artists don’t get anything because if they are just part of the general artist population they probably get what any street level artist should expect to get, straight distribution. As you know, the distribution company’s GENERAL services allow anyone to sign up. It’s the people that have a sales history and are generating income for themselves and their distributor, that they actually give a product manager to and that makes ALL the difference in the world.I have another artists that is a VP at CD Baby and they NEVER got a playlist in 8 years, or a placement, and HE works there! That’s just the way these companies work as it relates to the novice artists.I have another artist the recommended them that was on a major label and told me they did more at One RPM than the major did for them! In summary, I think there are levels of service you should expect, you get help when you are generating enough income help pay for that help, if you have low numbers, you you simply get the very basics. You have to do alot the work yourslf. That's why Apple, Spotify, and Amazon for Artists exist for each platform. One more thing, happy people don’t go to Trust Pilot, disgruntled people do, and I’m SURE there are loads MORE disgruntled people at every service.

The reason why ONErpm is the best ;)

While I don't think ONErpm is a scam, I think you get what you pay for. And you don't pay anything so you can't expect the customer service to be awesome. They also take a cut which means they'll prioritise big artists over you.

I'm glad to be able to get my music out and don't care much about the fact that they take a cut of your money. Once I start making more money I'll deffo switch.

The customer service is often hard to get to. It's frustrating when you clearly word your ticket (You contact ONErpm though tickets) perfectly and concisely, you ask for a specific thing. And then they don't adress that at all or give a vague BS answer.

The most annoying thing is that if you album gets rejected you can get stuck in a loop, even though you fix the problem. If you create a new album on their site and fill out the corrected information it will go through fine. It's as if there's some connection with the metadata of the specific album that got rejected first.

It's nice to see they've made improvements to their site. It used to be A LOT worse, but it doesn't fix everything

One(less at)rpm

First I released an EP with a few issues. It never got on Apple, and the lyrics were not distributed (at least not to Spotify). The bigger problems came when I tried to distribute my next album. This time they kept asking me for "authorization" to prove that I was the song-writer. I don't know why this suddenly became an issue a month after my other release. Anyway, I wrote my own, signed authorization letter which they didn't accept. They just kept asking for the same thing over and over again, but wouldn't elaborate on what exactly they needed that I hadn't already provided. They just copy and paste the briefest responses. They also ignored all my other questions and complaints. I've wasted months and many upload hours on this company.

Is there a way I can give zero review, they will update your monthly payment with 0.01when you're not getting streams, then boom, you promote your single on playlist and streams started falling in, they will stop report revenue from the platform your song is getting streamed, happened to me when my song went viral on Spotify, most of my streams comes from Spotify algorithm playlist , they stop reporting revenue from Spotify, then I hit 500k TikTok views, boom, they stop reporting revenue from TikTok, this people are criminals. Now their analysis is showing am getting streams on Tidal, they stop reporting revenue from Tidal, reach out to their support team, they copied and pasted for me, answers different from what I asked. Stay away from them

We tried to distribute an original…

We tried to distribute an original grunge rock song with vocals (not beat based type music) with oneRPM.

They failed to get it on apple music, and kept saying that our song failed to get pass their auto-detection system.

I have opened at least 4 tickets with them, each time they gave us a copy and paste reply that basically didnt answer my question or helped us to appeal.

In short, they are absolute scammers, their customer support is non-existent. Also, there seems to be no way which you can take your music to another distributor. There's literally no-one from the company you can talk to about anything.

Strongly recommend to avoid using their service.
