Please note, that any accounts that opt-in to Auto Topup will have their subscription renewed automatically each month, and for security purposes you will need to log into your account in order to apply the credit to your mobile phone.
Our optional Auto Topup service allows users to automatically buy a topup every month, to help ensure they never run out of credit on their phone(s). The Auto Topup service can be started and paused or cancelled at any time simply by clicking a button in the user account area.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Call your mobile company direct, you’ll end up calling them anyway and being charged extra. The message when paying says the credit will be sent to the phone number given, it is not, you get a voucher who you then have to call your mobile company to claim. The whole process takes way longer and there is a rip off admin charge that you needn’t pay. Would give 0 stars if that was an option.

Looks like a Scam company.
I feel like I’ve been caught in a sales trap by mistake. I’ve had an O2 Pay-As-You-Go contract for many years. I don’t have a smartphone – I use a standard mobile phone without internet. On 19 April 2026, I simply wanted to top up my O2 tariff online as usual via their website, but the system slipped this option in, which I’ve never used before and which I have absolutely had no idea about and have no need for. I wanted to top up my PAYG tariff by £15 – they charged me £17.84 – 20% for an almost mythical service of 'processing fees' ... Now it’s caused me a real headache when trying to cancel a service I don’t even understand the point of. They’re asking me to register on their platform as well, just to cancel the mistaken payment.
I’ve used O2’s services for many years and was happy with the company because they never forced anything on customers, let alone engaged in fraud. But recently, the situation seems to have changed drastically: over the past year, I’ve had to visit their office several times to sort out various issues, including being pressured to buy a new phone. In general, the question arises: who is serving whom, and who exists for whom? IT and telephone companies around the world are creating ever more new substructures, swelling the ranks of freeloaders – sellers of air and services that nobody needs, whom we are expected to support, whilst people who work hard and create real products and real value in society are left to fend for themselves.
The money never actually arrived in my O2 phone account. I still don’t understand what I paid for.

Reply to On Top Up: I will sue you if you do not give my money back and do not cancel that tricky subscription.

Scam company. They sign you up to a subscription, which is not made clear when topping up. Apparently, they also don't believe that they have to abide by the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 and offer a cooling-off period. Avoid this lot like the plague!

I am posting this review after helping my brother with this issue. He had had unknowing been making a monthly payment to this company. Check you're not paying a top-up monthly fee you are unaware of. His bank is investigating this company. Beware!

When doing the top up it was not clear on the website that it was a monthly subscription. Also ended up having to pay a £1.89 for the privilege of having the top up. Stay away from this site. Go directly to your provider for top up. I don’t know how, but I also ended up paying £9.95 for cancellation of the monthly payment.

Zero stars if I could. This site is a scam. They didn’t send my code until I chased them, and when I finally got it, it didn’t work anywhere not online, not on the phone, nothing. I even sent proof of the error and they still refused a refund, hiding behind “you received the code.” The code is worthless, the service is dodgy, and the whole thing is a con. Avoid at all costs

I notice that I'm not the only one who has unwittingly signed up for monthly auto top-ups. I only realised this when I received a pdf receipt and looked into my recent payment record and was horrified as I can ill afford even the relatively small payment involved. This happens to refer to a spare phone which I rarely use but keep for emergencies so I don't need these top-ups. And when I tried to unsubscribe I found it near impossible. I hope I've now managed to close my account and this way prevent any further payments but I still don't feel very comfortable.

This company is so typical use them once and the bill you for the next month without your consent even if you cancel your account. I have been waiting now for 2 months for a refund.
