I was interested in knowing the value of my two properties in Mitcham. OpenAgent identified three of the best real estate agents in my local area. I was provided with links to assess them. Without my prompting, OpenAgent contacted each of them and I was able to quickly arrange on-site visits with them.

Warning. Danger. Do Not Engage with These Guys.
Warning, this is no better than a scam, do not engage with them. When you search online for your property's value and they call you soon after. They will provide the names of three local agents and then expect a hefty share of the sales commission for doing next to nothing. They sent me the names of agents I already had a relationship with or who I would have easily found with a quick search. They added little or no value. And worst of all they never answer any calls despite having several phone numbers. Their answering machine message as good as says, go away, no-one here will ever talk to you. I now cannot use the Real Estate Agents they have recommended as I will not give these Open Agent guys anything. I call it what it is, a scam.

To clarify how our service works, if a property is sold through an agent we've introduced, the agent pays OpenAgent a referral fee after the sale is completed. There is no cost to the seller for using our service.
We understand there may also be situations where a homeowner already knows or has an existing relationship with an agent we recommend. We have a process in place that allows agents to let us know where a pre-existing relationship exists, so this can be reviewed appropriately.
We've also looked into your attempts to contact us and can see that your calls came through after our sales team had closed for the day on Friday, which is why you reached the closed phone line. We're sorry you weren't able to speak with someone when you tried to reach us and understand how this would have added to your frustration.

I initially accessed the site more to see what was available than to actually start a process so I baled-out when it came to being put in contact with the three agents.The process to that stage had been simple and easy to follow.The following day I received a follow up call,which I felt was indicative of a business that was proactive.I had a long conversation with Richa explaining my circumstances,and found her understanding and empathetic. Richa identified an agent she thought would satisfy my requirements. I had no sooner finished my conversation with Richa than Jordan was on the phone,and we have since had several conversations and he is actively pursuing the sale process for the house. All together a very satisfactory experience from OpenAgent. Well done.
