Bearbeitungsdauer bei höheren Beiträgen teils mehrere Monate bis zur Erstattung. Die Erfahrung musste ich schon öfters machen. Heißt man muss definitiv immer in Vorleistung gehen wenns um kronen, Implantate etc geht. Lediglich bei Zahnreinigungen geht die Bearbeitung flott.

I use the chat to confirm if a treatment will be accepted and funded, they give a very vague or convoluted answer, and then you just have to do the treatment and hope.

Getting worse every year
I've been using ottonova since 2023, it became every year worse and worse. Now, they ghost you for your reimbursements. In website, it says 2-3 business days, but in reality it takes weeks or months and they do not reply your questions in concierge.
I will quit this insurance, worthless.

The customer support is the best I have ever dealt with. They are responsive in a fast manner and often the support meets your expectation. The app is exactly as easy and as complicated as it should be for its purpose. You have all the metrics and options needed. The coverage is great and the compensation works perfectly! Great app and quick reimbursements
They have a great app and I always received my reimbursements within a couple of business days. Also it was easy to cancel my plan when I moved abroad.

Worst Insurance Firm
If Expat Don't even think of Ottonova, submitted for claim on 23 June its now 10th July still under review,while they deducted 125 Euros from my account which they do every 1st day of Month

Alles in allem eine gute Versicherung
Wie jede Versicherung gibt es ab und an Mal ein Thema aber bisher hab ich mich immer gut aufgehoben gefühlt und bin sehr mit der Leistung zufrieden.
Das einzige Thema warum es nicht für 5 Sterne reicht ist die mittlerweile doch sehr stark gestiegene Bearbeitungszeit. Das war am Anfang sehr viel besser.

Niemals krank werden!
Solange man nie krank ist, ist alles gut. Sobald man Rechnungen einreicht oder eine Leistungszusage benötigt, beginnt das Chaos. Extrem lange Bearbeitungszeiten (vier Monate, wenn man nicht Druck macht, noch länger! Dann erfolgt eine Entschuldigung und beim nächsten Mal geht es wieder genauso weiter!), schriftliche Zusagen, bei denen man dann doch wieder irgendetwas sucht, um die Rechnung nicht zahlen zu müssen und Mitarbeitende, bei denen eine Frage zu drei komplett verschiedenen Antworten führt.
