i had my appoitment today was in eastbourne, and was great service, and the nurse so nice. ill give them 5 stars

It was difficult to find the boot and I was 4 minutes late from my appointment. When I arrived someone was in with the nurse so I waited. When they finished 6 minutes later, the nurse refused to see me, even though there are signs everywhere that they'll see you if you're up to 5 mins late. Also, there was one person after me, whose appointment was in another 10 minutes so it's not even that there were people waiting. What a waste of time and effort, when you do it to contribute to future research. I will not rebook it and I will see if I can get my data removed from their system.

If there was an attached recommendation from NHS directly or participants I may have fallen for this scam. No one medical, no health provider can vouch for this scheme. WHY IS THAT?

We were two thirds on the longish journey to Boots in Rotherham when we received a text and email informing us that our appointments were cancelled. What a waste of our time. As we weren’t too far off, we decided to continue to the Retail Park. We called in the Boots store to see where we should have had the blood tests etc and we were surprised at the lack of privacy we would have had; there were just old-fashioned screens tucked in a corner. On speaking to a Boots member of staff, it did appear that this was not the first time this has happened!

Do the research and avoid this company you will regret taking there £10 voucher .

Having attended our future appointment today at Boots in Braintree 19/03/2025 what did we find no members of the future team were present. Apparently this is common place and were saying they seldom turn up. What a waste of time. I await your explanation although jugging by the staff reaction in Boots I dout this will happen.

This companies chairman John Bell has over £773,000 or more of shares in Roche ( a pharmaceutical company). The data is not protected and they have been rejected or refused access in many countries. 51 million is invested in this company from our government in just 2023.
Our future health is owned by England and Scotland and another UNAMED charity.
I researched this charity and got a number 1189681. When I googled this number it shows nothing and takes me back to our future health. This is very suspicious

This company are misleading in suggesting that participants will gain back knowledge of any health risk or concerns. When complaints are raised they simply fail to respond as they state that they will.

This is a program to create one of the largest datasets for health related research. It will be accessible by researchers to develop future medicines and treatment some of which may be commercial. Commercial research is how most new treatments are created, contributing toward this project is a small way to help us all have the prospect of healthier futures.

As many others have commented, you are giving away to a private company, your personal details and your DNA profile. For me it will not be an issue BUT with a little extrapolation using my wife's profile, the future health risks that my now adult children face, and my grand children will be available for anyone who pays to see it. That is a huge privacy issue as we are not assured that the data given will not be attached to our identity. The NHS already hold our medical records and a similar study is taking place within the NHS and under the control of the Data Protection Act, The Future Health study is not as you will have signed away your privacy rights for only £10. DON'T DO IT!

I received this letter to join but soon realised that I will have to attend a clinic and give my blood to be used for maybe something I don't agree with? for life! They will not share any results with me and they give me just £10.

Got a letter to day thought it was bit suspicious after coming on here reading the comments think i was right. Its probably not related but no one i know has had a letter, i'm unvaccinated.
Just wondering how many people on hear didn't have the jab also.

Received this letter, carefully designed to make you think you will give some blood tests and they will tell you potential dna related disease risks you have. Wrong! You give your blood, and your consent to share LIFETIME health data, then they give you £10 voucher, and they say goodbye, they dont share any results with you. They are treating you like guinea pigs and sell your dna & health data.

My letters went straight in the shredder, as the more information you give out via the internet, the more you leave yourself open to attacks and scams on your system and mobile.

If you have any concerns afterwards there is no support or communication. I had two needle marks after giving blood and have a query about the needle used and some other hygiene concerns. I have emailed support twice, telephoned and was told I would receive an email. I have now emailed complaints but it seems once they have what they want they will not communicate.
Felt I was doing a positive thing but regret it now.

I am not convinced this is legitimate. They have used the NHS logo on their letterhead and I am concerned that this is more of a business venture rather than robust scientific research.

Meanwhile, they collect an awful lot of information on us for a £10 voucher.

After looking into Professor Sir John Bell, Chairman of Our Future Health, there appears to be a conflict of interest between OFH and Roche Pharmaceutical.

With so many scams and ways of stealing our data going, I'm going to decline. If people want to get involved in scientific research you are better to inquire in Cambridge or Oxford university hospitals which are legit.

I have received a letter but have not yet decided what to do as I am still researching the company. However, despite what some negative reviews say, when I scanned the QR code I was not asked for a credit card number. I couldn't find anywhere that they divulge information to Tiktok and they are partly funded by the government. There is an article about the company on the BBC news website. Do your research first, get the facts and then make an informed decision rather than relying on some of the hysterical views here. If I decide to go ahead I will post an update.

Come on! This is so obviously a scam to get people's data so they can be sold medicine or treatment privately. Just like in the US, subscribers will be bombarded with questionnaires which will lead them to believe they need such-and-such a medication while the NHS bleeds money (and credibility by association). There ought to be a law against this.

Went for my blood test and blood pressure appointment today in Chichester and low and behold no one there. There was a sign saying no appointments today due to unforeseen circumstances. I received a text and email at 10.13 which was 7 minutes before I was supposed to arrive for my 10.40 appointment. Apparently they like us there 15 mins before appointment. Asked Boots staff...was told by very nice lady at pharmacy that they often don't turn up on a Sunday What a waste of a day and expensive parking.

It's not a scam as a fair few seem to believe; nor is it a conspiracy. I believe future generations will benefit more than we will at the moment; although I was told if there are any issues identified from my blood sample I will be contacted. Here's hoping they don't contact me!
