Do not buy the Lifesmart Paradise DLX…
Do not buy the Lifesmart Paradise DLX (LS450DX) 7-Person 22-Jet Plug and Play Spa! I had this hot tub for two months and it stopped working. I had to have a technician come to my house to try to figure it out. The manufacturer mailed me the part that was needed to fix the tub. However, they mailed the wrong part! This caused me to have to have my technician come back. Not only did the warranty company Watkins Wellness refuse to pay for the second visit from my technician which was entirely their fault but they only refunded me for half of the cost that it actually cost me to repair the hot tub that I only owned for two months. Not only that, this hot tub SUCKS if you live in cold climates. I live in PA and this hot tub cannot hold the heat in the winter. I can never get it above 70 degrees and I have TWO insulated covers on it. I tried letting outlet spas know about my terrible experience with watkins wellness and all they did was mail me two filters....I spend thousands of dollars but thanks so much for the filters..?

Thank you for sharing your review with OutletSpas.com. It is important to understand what you are buying when you buy a spa.
As I understand, your damage was clearly not coverable as a warranty repair; however, the manufacturer sent the parts and still covered a reasonable amount of labor, simply out of good will. We further provided some free accessories as compensation, because we definitely understand your frustration.
Your spa should have no problem maintaining 104 degrees temperatures in any environment, as long as the cover is properly sealed and the air valves are fully closed. It is only expected to heat at about 3/4 degree per hour, so it does take time to recover any heat loss (and will lost heat faster in freezing ambient temperatures).
As an investment property, many guests do not understand how the tub works, so it is worth investing in a hard-wired, 230V spa (or at least providing clear instructions for use, along with being responsible for damage to equipment).
We are here to be a resource to help you think through your spa needs to get you in the best option. If you are looking for the cheapest model, it will not perform like a premium model spa.

Great hot tub. Was delivered on a pallet.
Easy to set up. Set up when it was 12 degrees outside and filled with hose attached to sink. Took 50 hours to heat from 76 to 104. Holds heat and is super nice for the price.

You should expect your LS450DX to heat at about 3/4 degree /hour. If you do not see that happening, be sure your air valves are fully closed (as they bring outside air into the water and compete with the heater).

LS550 plus was an excellent purchase....
I ordered the LS550 plus hot tub. It was very simple to order online and it shipped in 2 weeks. It was very easy to track the hot tub via the tracking # that I received when the hot tub shipped from the warehouse. I hired a licensed electrician to wire the hot tub. Once the hot tub was wired and powered on with the circuit breaker, it started heating up and reached 100 deg F in a few hours. I have been using the hot tub almost every day and enjoying it. I am very happy with the hot tub so far with no issues.

As soon as I signed on to the website the chat person, Hannah, was there to answer any questions I had. Only problem I has, was I didn't know the verification that I'm not a robot is timed, so when I didn't get some of the information in right away, I had to re-verify. Thanks for all the help!
