THE DRIVER WAS GREAT. IT WAS THE HOTEL WAS NOT TO GOOD THE MAIN FOR DINNER MEAL WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL THE FISH WAS DRY CHICKEN WAS NOT OK FOR PEOPLE. LOOKING OUT OF BEDROON WINDOW LOTS OF CARBOARD AND WOOD JUST RIGHT FOR RATS.PELLING WOOD AND WINDOWS HAD POO ON THEM FROM THE GULLS.FINGER MARKS ON THE DOORS. THE WHOLE PLACE WAS NOT TO SCRATCH. ALSO TO FAR OUT WILL NOT GO AGAIN NOTHING LIKE THE THE THE VIEW HOTEL MRS J SWAIN

The places we visited were interesting but there was no tour guide on the bus to tell us what we were seeing as we passed. The bus basically dropped us of in Bath, Oxford and Salisbury, it would have been much better to have gone on a tour of these cities so we knew what was there for us to focus on when we stopped. There was no guide at Blenheim, it was covered in scaffolding, which we had not been made aware of before booking, it was only when we got to the end of walking round the palace that we found audio guides were available and we didn’t have enough time to start again. We had two coach drivers over the five days and the first one, Gordon, was grumpy, unfriendly and unhelpful, however the second one, Ally, was a huge improvement. He gave us clear instructions and did whatever he was able to assist us. The hotel, whilst a little tired in decor, was clean and comfortable with superb staff, who were extremely helpful when required. The access to the hotel was dreadful for a coach to get to, there were only 19 people on our bus, so it might have been better to have a luxury minibus. I am really not sure I would go with Palmer Holidays again nor recommend them, given the cost and what I have mentioned above. It would have probably worked out much cheaper for us if we had arranged all these things ourselves, you expect at least a tour guide and guided tours when paying a premium with a tour company. I have given 3 stars on account of the hotel staff, Ally the coach driver and the lovely places we saw (by ourselves!)

From being picked up at the door by the taxi and getting back home. Everything was 1st class? Craig (the coach driver) couldn't do enough for us, and his driving was very smooth. Hotel in Mayrhofen was central and very comfortable

Excellent coach driver,really good hotels,professional service throughout the journey and at all the hotels.Kept informed as to any changes or problems with the itinerary,able to enjoy the holiday without any stress.

Had a great time. Very organised. Driver was excellent, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Hotel was lovely but was tired. Needs doing up. Food was brilliant. Will use Palmers again.

The whole experience - Scenery, Itinerary accommodation and organisation. Not to be overlooked was the lovely group of people we travelled with and of course Brynn our driver.
This trip fulfilled an ambition we have had for a long time and the weather was also very good to us making the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable

Wonderful tour. Hotels were good. Can't say anything other than I really loved it.

Enjoyed holiday, especially Eden Project and free day in Looe, hotel in lovely position, great views. Would have been more stars but door to door taxi was 50 mins late, very stressful. Although not my fault made me feel guilty for the other poor passengers waiting at Skelton Lake Services where l was to board coach and worse, those standing outside Wakefield Bus Station. Driver and staff at hotel very helpful and friendly but food let hotel down, also extremely hard mattress.

Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday but the two hour stop over in Wilmslow was a waste of timid. Grant the coach driver was excellent.The M62 was very busy on Friday afternoon and he arrived in Wakefield on time .

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Lovely hotel and with the exception of delay with taxis on return all travel arrangements went well. Will be booking another holiday later in the year.

Grant was an excellent driver and so helpful loading and unloading the coach.
Our stop at Wilmslow on the way back, was not a good place for old people with walking aids.
Grant had to stop on a busy road to unload and this made it difficult for some folk to negotiate the various
crossing points.
Alvaston Hall Hotel lived up to our expectations.
Staff very helpful .
My daughter and I enjoyed our holiday .

Admin and Taxi pick-up excellent. Hotel fine, staff friendly and helpful. Bathroom could do with an update. Food OK, could have been better, but edible.Very pleasant holiday.

Had a great if exhausting time. Time in Henley and Windsor on the outward and home journeys bookending a long day at the Chelsea flower show. Driver friendly and helpful.

Punctual pickup, ontime travel all weekend. Friendly driver who was helpful with all travellers, all disabilities. All round good weekend.

We had a very pleasant, friendly driver (Graham) who helped everyone who needed it.
Hotel was very good except the evening food, as a veg/ pescatarian the choice was very poor on the second night the only options were chicken and pork I had a bowl of soup for my evening meal 😒😢, also in late May we did not need a thick winter duvet and a thick mattress topper it was far too warm… we asked at Reception for an alternative and was very abruptly told there was none also the price of drinks was off the scale.

Clean comfortable coach , great friendly brilliant driver very informative.
Great hotel with good food and plenty of options.alcholic drinks were very expensive. Rooms were very clean and well lit with natural light.
Our 2 excursions to Henley on Thames and Windsor were brilliant with enough time to get the feel of the places.
Chelsea flower show was well organised by Palmers.
The flower show was a brilliant experience with great exhibitions, the one slight spoiler was at 1pm the grounds became overcrowded and unbearable onwards .
Not enough seating for rest stops were available.

I will not return to the Chelsea flower show because of the overcrowding.
Our drop off and pick up places in Chelsea were close to the entrance and perfect.

Everything 1st class pleasant & helpful driver, comfortable coach, everything on time & delightful visits to Henley & Windsor, good hotel & good company altogether a very good weekend, thank you 🌸

Just returned from "Exploring Kent - The Garden of England" and had a wonderful time. Gary the driver/host was very kind, helpful and informative. The VOCO Clifton Hotel in Folkestone was fabulous - spotlessly clean, bedroom and bathroom one of the nicest we've had and all the staff went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. As is often the case, there is always someone who likes to complain so if you read a really bad review for this hotel/trip from a couple who were there from 19/05/25 to 23/05/25 please disregard it as their complaint is not justified.
