Deciding to go through the process of finding out if your child has autism is quite daunting but the decision to go through this route was made so much more positive by paloma health the wait was short the guidance and advice you receive whilst waiting for the appointment is invaluable and the assessors that we had were amazing so kind patient and understanding

Our daughter was referred to Paloma via the GP and the right to choose pathway. From referral to diagnosis the whole process took less than three months. The team were very helpful, informative and supportive throughout. Everything was handled efficiently and we are very pleased that we chose Paloma. I would highly recommend selecting them if you have an older child to be assessed through the fully remote pathway as for us it was a quick and painless process that means my daughter will now be accessing the support she needs far quicker than she would have via other providers.

Recently used Paloma for my son to get an autism diagnosis. Whole process took less than 18 weeks from doctors referral to diagnosis. Support team great very informative and proactive. Assessors both lovely and informative. Made my son feel at ease. Report is brilliant and really informative and easy to understand. There is an online portal you can log into with loads of information and courses. You can also use it to upload any necessary documents. Entire process really easy would definitely recommend.

This was my third time going down the assessment pathway, but the first time for my daughter. The process was fast with regular contact and update from Paloma. In addition the report was much more personal than other.

The process was straight forward and took only six weeks from srart to finish. We found the team to be caring, understanding and we felt heard and supported through our journey into understanding our childs unique qualities. It was Insightful and informative. We were put at ease and felt free to ask lots of questions. A really good positive experience.

Couldn’t fault Paloma health, for my daughter’s Autism assessment. The waiting times were very quick. The website, was very easy to navigate, with demo videos explaining the process. My daughter felt at ease during the online assessment & communicated well with the assessor. My daughter did not receive an Autism diagnosis following assessment. We have received a report with recommendations which will help her in the future.

Our experience was very good. All staff were friendly, helpful and swift in responding to any questions. We found the webinars throughout the process particularly helpful. This cut our origional NHS wait time from an expected 18 to 24 months to just a few months and included an in person assessment for our son.

Would recommend Paloma Health to anyone. Saved us a massive waiting time. Process took 8 months in total and we come away with a diagnosis for my son, so it's opened so much more help with him getting the support he needs at school. Staff were incredible, friendly and so patient.

The whole process was communicated really well and very supportive throughout. The staff were friendly, empathetic and put the children at ease throughout the assessment. The staff were supportive, helpful and listened to any information that was provided. Sometimes on the neuro developmental pathway it can feel like professionals dismiss your experiences or that as a family your input is not listened to but the customer service was excellent and the staff empathetic and understanding.We had some technical issues with our own IT which impacted our appointment but within minutes the assessor had contacted the admin team and they arranged another appointment. We also queried some information at the diagnosis meeting which prompted further discussion and information and the assessor listened to this and amended the advice accordingly which is of great help for us in ensuring the right support is in place for our daughter. The diagnosis was positive and one of the assessors really took the time to encourage our daughter that there are lots of positive aspects to having autism and that just because they process things differently doesn't mean its a negative and that they have a unique way of looking into the world etc which I thought was really supportive and encouraging. The whole process was smooth and a short process as stated in the timescales. The portal and the tutorials and the information guides pre and post diagnosis were all really useful and comprehensive.

My 10 year old was starting to think she was different from her peers and was anxious and worried that she had autism. I went to her school and GP and school recommended going through the doctor using right to choose. The doctor put us onto Paloma Health due to the short waiting time and I didn’t regret going with them, their support and care has been amazing. All done on line, so no long journeys. The professionals we dealt with were understanding and kind. And kept us informed throughout the process. From start to finish my daughter’s diagnosis was about 8 weeks.
