I had an ADHD assessment with ProblemShared and honestly, the whole experience was amazing from start to finish.
The process felt really smooth and well organised, which made a big difference as I was quite nervous going into it. Everything was clearly explained, and I never felt rushed or dismissed at any point.
The clinician was incredibly understanding, patient, and knowledgeable. I felt genuinely listened to, which is something I’ve struggled to find before. They took the time to fully explore my experiences and made me feel comfortable opening up.
Receiving my diagnosis brought such a huge sense of relief and validation. It’s been life-changing to finally have answers and feel understood.
I would highly recommend ProblemShared to anyone considering an ADHD assessment. A really professional, supportive, and positive experience.
I waited for quite a few months for my appointment but now it’s been over a year since my diagnosis and I still haven’t had an appointment regarding my medication options. At one point an aggressive lady from a third party called out of the blue to discuss my medical history and even when told it was a bad time persisted to ask me questions. She then didn’t listen and caused further delay. In between all of this contact had been so sparse from problem shared, with no one ever reaching out to me unless I did so first then it usually takes several weeks for a response.
If you try and call rather than email good luck it’s usually 30 minutes to an hour wait and the person on the other end of the phone can only pass a message on which seemingly goes nowhere.
If you are considering using problem shared on the right to choose pathway I wouldn’t bother. What they claim to be in wait times even if less is t worth the hassle
Kept in touch while I was waiting for my assessment.
It took just under a year from my application to having my online assessment.
Lots of information provided after my diagnosis.

My therapist from Talking Therapy recommended I ask my GP for an autism and ADHD assessment. Even though I was anxious, I didn’t have to wait long, and the experience was reassuring. Holly, Danielle, and Caroline were lovely, understanding, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the process. Highly recommend.

We saw a leaflet at our GP's surgery and decided that it would be worth giving them a go rather than wait for the NHS. It took approximately 18 months to get an appointment for diagnosis which seemed quick. On our telephone appointment both my wife and I where well informed on what to expect and how the assessment would be made up the course it would take. We were dealt with with respect and sympathy. The whole experience was simple, easy to follow and was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend anyone who is waiting for a diagnosis for Autism to forgo the wait for the NHS and contact problemshared you will not regret it.

My experience with Problem Shared has been first class. I have been kept up to date with waiting times for my ADHD Assessment. The forms were easy to navigate and my Assessment went smoothly. My assessor was patient and reassuring. I found it very informative and was surprised to receive the feedback and in my case a diagnosis on the same day as my assessment. Now part of the late diagnosed adhd gang. Of course it took me several days to open the email containing my report, but I now have that and will attempt to read it in chunks to process and digest.

I am incredibly pleased with the progress I’ve made with Problem Shared. I began the process in July 2025, and since then, I have successfully completed both my ADHD assessment (December 2025) and my Autism assessment (April 2026). The team has been brilliant throughout. Following my diagnoses, they provided clear and helpful information to help me understand my results. During my online assessment, I ran into some technical issues joining the call. The staff were extremely patient and supportive while I got things sorted, which really helped lower my anxiety. To go from starting the process to having both assessments completed in under a year has been amazing. Overall, I highly recommend their services for anyone looking for a professional and patient assessment process!

So glad I chose problem shared to do both of my assessments. The ladies who did my assessment were excellent and put me at ease throughout. Although the wait to be seen was quite long, it wasn’t as bad as waiting for the NHS, which was years. It was worth the wait. I had my results the same day so there was no anxiety with waiting and the reports arrived the next day.

Very easy process to follow from the start, they help with the initial letter to your GP to request for referral and are clear with their wait times for assessment. Their online portal is easy to understand and navigate, and the assessor I spoke to during my assessment (Chris Richardson) was super knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and really easy to talk to. My diagnosis was given on the call - so no further waiting around, as well as insight on potential other areas worth considering for assessment. Definitely recommend Problem Shared via Right To Choose - my experience has been great so far.

The support we received from the Problem Solved team from beginning to end was excellent. Every step was clearly explained, which made the whole process much easier. Sarah Le Quesne is an absolute gem—She went above and beyond for us, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Her kindness, patience, and genuine compassion towards Joseph and me will stay with us—we felt completely supported every step of the way.
I truly hope she is recognised for her hard work and dedication.
We are incredibly grateful and couldn’t have asked for anyone better.

I chose Problem shared as I wanted a provider that offered both ADHD and autism assessments,
I had my my adhd assessment in December 25 and my autism assessment in April 26 since being on the waiting list from June 25 and was diagnosed with both, during my assessments. I was made to feel at ease by the clinicians and they did everything they could to make the process as stress free as possible. I was my own informant for my autism assessment so had a full day of appointments but the clinician brought my feedback session forward, as she could see how distressed I was, I can’t rate problem shared enough, the whole process of gaining the confidence to apply for an assessment and to prepare yourself is incredibly difficult, but i felt seen and heard at every step of the way by problem shared. I found them well trained at spotting autism in late diagnosed women who mask heavily, something that I was very concerned about, i also appreciate the use of neuroaffirming language in the report, as a late diagnosed audhd woman at age 42, I feel they have given me the best possible chance to move forward with my diagnosis with a positive outlook and have made me feel seen after a lifetime of being gas lit and told I was too much, a wonderful service that I can’t recommend enough 5 stars!

The whole process from start to finish was straightforward and easy to complete.
