The overall customer experience and…
The overall customer experience and website interface are extremely confusing and poorly designed.
Navigating the site to figure out how everything works is an unnecessarily frustrating process. It is difficult to get started because the digital platform lacks clear guidance.
Because the setup and website are so confusing, a recommendation is unlikely at this point. Fixing the website interface and simplifying the user journey would make a massive difference.

Helpful customer support
Helpful customer support. I had difficulties with sample collection, and ultimately needed to cancel/refund my lab kit. They helped me assess whether I would be able to do the sample collection, and when determined I could not, provided a refund for the test without pushback. Much appreciated.

To clarify, our lab reports test results, but we don't provide clinical interpretation or tell patients what condition they have. That decision is made by your healthcare provider based on your full clinical picture.

Mostly good
My experience with this product and customer service was good, except for that there was only one swab in the kit and the instructions did not include a note about not using the swab in your vagina when menstruating. This information was elsewhere in the packet, in the "Do's & Don'ts". So I ruined the first swab and had to order new swabs on Amazon. Maybe a second swab should be included, and the step-by-step instructions can include that note about menstruation. However, the customer service representatives I spoke with were kind and helpful as they could be, given the situation.

Great company and customer service! A rare gem!
First time using a lab company...the questions I had were insurmountable! Marlon G. could not have been more patient and helpful. He explained things over and over if I needed (keep in mind I'm beyond sick, so I wasn't operating on all 4 cylinders). He was prompt to follow-up, follow through-even making detailed notes for other coworkers incase he wasn't there. He wanted to ensure that my doctor received the kits needed and in the fastest, easiest manner possible What a rare, refreshing customer service rep-he is thorough, reliable, and cares that you live lol. Thank you Marlon for all of your time and help-you've been truly a life-savor!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!
For the amount of money spent I fully expected that the "report" I received would explain in layman's terms what was revealed by the testing (that was my entire motivation for doing it). For example, I would expect a summary that detailed whether the urine and vaginal samples indicated health or imbalances. If for example a bacterial vaginitis was detected - I expected the report would state that clearly and recommend seeking medical advice/treatment. When I reached out to customer service I got an email I couldn't even understand back that ended by suggesting I go see a DR. I could have saved $300 by simply making a Dr appointment and I would have gotten all the same tests results explained to me and billed to my insurance! For me - this was a complete WASTE of money.

Our reports provide detailed information about the microbes identified in your sample, but a diagnosis, like bacterial vaginosis, can only be made by a licensed healthcare provider, who combines those results with your health history and a clinical exam to make their judgments.
Our tests aren't intended to replace your provider; they're designed to give you and your provider the most detailed diagnostic information available to support that evaluation.
To help you get the most out of your results, we offer a complimentary telemedicine session with a provider who can walk through your report with you and explain what it shows.
Please note this session doesn't include diagnosis or treatment, for that, our Customer Service team can help connect you with a healthcare provider who can diagnose and treat based on your results.
You can schedule the telemedicine session or get help finding a provider using the link in the "Important Info" email you received, or by calling our Customer Service team at 1-855-208-0019.

outstanding customer service
This was the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time! My initial call was answered by Vivian Gil, and she could not have been more friendly, patient and helpful, explaining and walking me through the ordering process. My follow-up call was leaving a voice message over the weekend, regarding my order, and to my surprise, my call was returned outside of regular business hours. The young man's name was Marlon, and he was incredibly helpful in resolving my request. I haven't done the test yet, but I highly recommend MicroGenDX based on its outstanding customer service.

I was impressed with the ease of completing the test and the fast turnaround, but the test results are somewhat complicated to understand. I tried setting up a consultation with a doctor with MicroGenDX and never got a call at our allotted time. I think the results should come with a walkthrough of the results by a professional.
