We are very pleased with the professional way that Pennine Home Improvements have carried out the replacement of our patio doors. Every member of staff has been courteous and helpful, especially our fitter who removed and replaced our blinds, removed all rubbish and left no mess at all. A job well done !

We had a Pennine agent cold call at our door recently. As we were considering buying windows we thought to get a quote. We arranged for them to come the following day but received 5 phone calls prior asking us to confirm and even a call at the door. We again confirmed the later appointment despite already agreeing yesterday.
They arrived an hour early but we let them in. After nearly an hour of sales patter. He eventually gave us the “main” quote which we were apparently to “ignore”. This quote was HUGE for a very small house and the most basic of windows/ door. We were then told the “real” discounted price would be around 40% less! We were showed the monthly payments etc but we were then told we had to decide NOW! He gave us 5 minutes to decide otherwise we would loose this discount completely! With interest we would still be paying back closer to the original price.
We asked if we could have more time as this was a big decision and wanted to get a few other quotes yet we was again told it was now or never, all quotes from other companies would be similar regardless!
It was at this point we asked him to leave. As soon as we had said no he couldn’t leave fast enough!

Excellent service from Pennine. Johnathon and Michael were outstanding. The craftsmanship is superb. Every member of the Pennine team that we came in contact with was very helpful friendly and knowledgeable, helping us to achieve what we wanted. I would highly recommend Pennine home improvements.

Smooth process from beginning to end. Paul, who came out to talk us through the windows, was lovely and helped us massively in talking through our needs for our new house. The surveyor was helpful in ensuring we got absolutely everything we wanted and the fitter was incredible. He fitted a 3 bedroom house- including sliding doors himself. Very impressive and has left our house looking as if it has never been touched. So happy with the final product and would recommend Pennine to anyone.

Very happy with the quality of work,the fitter arrived on time, introduced himself and got straight on with the work, he cleaned up when finished and was very professional throughout, from my first enquiry to the job being completed I was kept updated at all times and even got my doors fitted a day earlier than expected which I was very happy about.I would definitely recommend.

Jane and Marie were fantastic and explained everything in detail. They had a very friendly approach and would recommend them to anyone!

Can’t praise this company enough. I contacted them to have windows installed for my elderly parents and literally can’t fault them. From the first phone call to book a quote up until the installation they have been fab. Every member of staff is so lovely to speak to. Particularly Joel and Amy were great and so helpful! We recently decided to have new windows and doors fitted, and chose Penine. The salesman was very pleasant and polite, as was the surveyor who came out to take precise measurements. We had the work done within a month of placing the order. The team of fitters turned up on time, did a brilliant job, tidied up after themselves, and were finished in just under six hours. Friendly and polite, as we're the reception staff whenever I needed to get in touch. My husband and I are delighted with our new windows and doors. The only downside was the project manager, who did not communicate well, and acted as though my queries were a trouble to her. Despite this I would highly recommend Penine.

I’m absolutely delighted with my new windows and doors from Pennine / Windows Plus. From start to finish, the service was excellent. Amy in the office was lovely to deal with—friendly, organised, and always happy to help. The two fitters were just as impressive: professional, tidy, and incredibly considerate throughout the job.

The workmanship is spot on, everything was left clean, and the final product looks fantastic. A genuinely smooth, stress‑free experience and a result I’m really pleased with. Highly recommended.

Excellent windows and doors. I have recently had windows installed at front of the house and they're amazing. Installed by father and son John and Johnny. Cleaned up after themselves too. When the time comes I will be having the back of the house done too.
Would recommend this company to everyone.

The service and communication was atrocious and our order was installed a month later than expected. The first install date literally NOBODY SHOWED UP and I had to call and ask why. Nobody even contacted me! The second install date; a man showed up complained about parking and huffed about for ages doing nothing. He left my front door wide open for an hour in the freezing cold and then another man showed up and told me the door had not been measured properly. and they left. I had to call and call and pursue while they had the full payment for a door that was not installed. They said they had to make the door again and after 3 weeks nobody called me and I was the one who had to chase up the door. Despite delays and concerns, and being told payment would be requested AFTER the month-overdue install I was called and pestered for money before the door was installed. Nobody even bothered with a courtesy call regarding the closure of our complaint. Terrible expensive company. They still haven't sent me the supposed warranty either.

We have recently had two doors fitted our home. The service we received was outstanding from the start, from the original visit to the fitting by Adam and Gary who were so professional and did an amazing job. Kim was in constant contact with us throughout too to keep everything right. Outstanding service and an incredibly high quality product. Could not recommend more!!

The experience I had with Pennines was excellent, customer service, the work done was fantastic I would recommend them to anyone.

This is the second time we've used Pennine and as the first time and was quick and quality work. The fitters Gary and Adam were great, very polite. As was Kim on the phone, always polite and helpful. Would definitely use again.

I recently had my entire home refitted with new windows and doors by Pennine Windows, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The work was completed over Monday and Tuesday this week, and from start to finish everything ran incredibly smoothly.

I did a lot of research beforehand and looked at several companies, but none could match the level of quality Pennine offered for the price. The products themselves are excellent and have completely transformed my home.

A special mention to the two installers – they were polite, professional, and extremely respectful of my home throughout. They worked efficiently and made the whole process stress-free.

Overall, a fantastic service and a company I’d highly recommend. I’m genuinely grateful – hats off to the whole team!

I had a new front and back door fitted, to replace doors on my new build which were poor quality. It was a big investment, but I am really delighted with the quality of the new doors, and the overall finish provided by the fitter, despite the fact he got soaked by the rain on the job!

Asked Pennine to give us a quote for replacement UPVC windows and doors.

After being at our property for almost an hour, the sales rep produced a price of £28k.

Once I'd picked myself off the floor, the salesman then applied a discount for booking within a certain timescale, and then another which was part of a window scrapping scheme.

This brought the price down to £15k

When I declined this "generous" quotation, I received a phone call from Pennine a few days later asking me why.

When I explained to the gentleman that the original quote was astronomically high, and enquired why the subsequent quote was almost half the price, the little chatterbox on the phone started getting aggressive, so I hung up on him.

We have just had local supplier to visit our property, to price for the same scope of work (less one window due to building work).

£8.2k all in.

Dont even considering placing an enquiry with Pennine, let alone allow them to waste your time by giving you a quotation.

What if I had just said "yes" to their original quotation, which was three and a half times the price?

Absolute daylight robbery.

This was more money than I expected to pay but definitely worth it for peace of mind. These doors have the most amazing locks that have guarantees separately and the doors themselves all fit perfectly. I would recommend and the company are great at checking customer satisfaction and send all relevant documents immediately.
