The transfer in was easy but drawdown ?
The transfer in was easy for all my pensions. The only thing is I cannot find clearly whether PensionBee offers phased drawdown for withdrawals or whether the entire pot has to be moved into drawdown. I don't need to take a large lump sum immediately but would like to take some smaller payments but do not want the entire fund crystallising.

So far so good
So far so good. All done via their app. It’s clear, it’s simple. I entered a few details from the various scattered pensions I had and within a few weeks they had all been transferred over. I use Pension Bee now for my directors pension through my business.

It was seamless to arrange my transfer…
It was seamless to arrange my transfer via the app and PensionBee then did all the work to arrange it. My previous provider seemed to drag their feet, but after contacting my Beekeeper things got moving. So far so good.

Meh!
I created my account with PensionBee on 9 August, and so far I'm not impressed. It took over two weeks just to verify my identity, something that normally takes about 2 minutes. And I had to email them twice in that period to ask why it was taking so long. You can't make a contribution until you're verified so that's two weeks wasted. It then took another week for them to process my contribution so, all in all, very slow. I was planning on making regular contributions but if it takes that long every time, I'll probably go elsewhere.

I found this through adverts, and I am glad I did. It is easy to use, and they take the hard work away from handling pension transfers.
