We were embarrassed and disgusted with the flowers I ordered from petals.at a cost of $120 plus for a wedding anniversary
The flowers arrangement was sparse, few roses and greenery and had the stalks of the flowers cut so short they looked ridiculous. Supermarket flowers for $45 looked 100 times better. Never again would I use this company
Do NOT use this florist
Do NOT use this florist. I ordered flowers for a family member at Christchurch Hospital and Petals accepted my money than later informed me that the hospital does not take flowers so the flowers coudl not be delivered. When challenged they stated they could not be expected to know which hospital wards accepted flowers - really ? I'm a Nurse - it doesn't change.
DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THESE GUYS
DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THESE GUYS, THEY SEND YOUR RECEIVER HALF DEAD FLOWERS ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE SENDER WON'T FIND OUT AND THEN CLAIM THAT THIS IS NOT WHAT WAS SENT UNLESS YOU CAN PROVE OTHERWISE.

They email /call adding on additional costs after you've already paid for your order online: they called a few days after we had already paid/ordered online saying we had to pay more or they'd refund our order, we were stuck so just paid the extra $. Unreasonable customer service when I questioned why.
They also delivered on wrong day, two days earlier than we had asked.
The flowers were also very different to what we ordered and some were already brown, clearly not fresh new flowers.
Absolute rip off: in the end, we had paid $220.00 for a tiny bouquet, a balloon and tiny box of chocolates. Whole thing is a scam. And not worth your money!
Absolutely worst flowers I have ever…
Absolutely worst flowers I have ever ordered.
2 different bouquets were ordered both significantly smaller than advertised and super average.
Emailed to complain and got some shoddy reply.
Never use them again have since contacted commerce commission for false advertising and am awaiting petals reply for a refund due to misleading/false website listing
Worst flowers ever
Worst flowers ever! What an embarrassment, go to the supermarket - do not use this company biggest load of bs rip off ever ! Never again. Communication worst pass the buck bs
Expected a disaster
I did a search for flower delivery in Napier and Petals kept popping up. I’d never heard of them before but the discount offered, and the types of deliveries met my requirements so I placed an order.
Only after I had placed the order did I check the reviews… and I was regretful, expecting that it was going to be a disaster.
The flowers were delivered on time and were gorgeous.
The fee seemed a bit excessive at first, but it included delivery, so I’m happy with the price too.
No complaints from me and I would definitely use them again.
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!
Had damaged, old, unwatered awful flowers delivered for $130!!!
The rudest communication from them too, they wouldn’t refund us even tho agreeing the flowers were damaged and then only offered 25% back!!
Absolutely disgusting!!

Petals Network is an absolute rip off
Petals Network is an absolute rip off. I purchased these flowers for Mothers Day. They cost $125 with the chocolates. I could have purchased better flowers from Woolworthsfor around $35. Half of them were dead and the others droopy and sparse. Looked nothing like the picture online. The chocolates were only 150grams where I had expected 220 grams that I paid $20 for.
Lesson to everyone, call the florist direct, Never order though an online service like this.
Ridiculously small
Ridiculously small. I could have bought three big bunches for that price
Petals network is a middle-man network…
Petals network is a middle-man network company that practically copies the florist website in your chosen area then takes 20% of your money as fee then sends the rest to the florist company to make up the order with your information. So $100 bouquet of flowers you'll likely receive different flowers with lesser value. Best to call direct to the florists to avoid losing money. Calling the florist direct and they did receive 80% of what I paid to petals and the florist made every effort to deliver the beautiful flowers ahead of time. Appreciate the effort petals sending the invoice through
DO NOT TRUST THIS OPERATOR
This operator should not be allowed to continue to operate in New Zealand. A order placed in good faith for a dying mothers last mothers day is cancelled the day before mothers day.
Clearly they over trade to bank the cash and hope their "I'm sorry" and "we will supply something else" will do.
If you can't supply or have doubts, stop taking orders.
I have lodged a formal compliant with the Commerce Commission under the fair trading act. We need these operators banned from New Zealand.
Terrible service
Extremely disappointed with the service offered. I ordered flowers with the NZ branch from the UK. There was no oversight on what was delivered but I was charged for more than double what was expected.
Like others I tried to follow up with Petals Network who were no help at all.
Very poor customer service and very over priced and under delivered.
"silk flower" Arrangement
Ordered a "silk flower" arrangement. Received a rubber flower arrangement in an acrylic water base that is emitting a very sickening organic odor. Very disappointing especially considering the $200 cost.
Wrong date, wrong flowers.
I used the Australia/New Zealand website and ordered a premium pastel arrangement to be delivered on 10th. The photograph showed muted pastel coloured flowers, understated, tasteful and classy. This is what I wanted for my friend’s 60th birthday.
What she actually received on 3rd (a week early) was a bright display of dark purples, dark pinks and bright yellows, with a yellow box, and a tacky butterfly.
Totally unacceptable, and so very disappointing. Felt awful, my friend must have thought I had forgotten when her birthday was, and the flowers were not at all suitable. It ruined my birthday surprise to her.
Very poor substitute flowers provided…
Very poor substitute flowers provided due to flowers that were meant to be in the bouquet being out of stock on a Monday. Received an email on the day of delivery saying some flowers would change however all changed. What was delivered was ugly and unattractive would rather have delivered nothing vs what they sent. Do not recommend.
Dont bother
Filled out form on website, paid. Then 2 days later saw refund in my bank account. No explanation. Emailed, was told my order looked like a fraudulent order?
Complete waste of time. Not recommended.
Extremely disappointed
Extremely disappointed with the terrible bouquet received. Total misrepresentation of the product ordered on line and what was actually delivered. Advertising photo showed approx 25 blooms, recipient received 10. And received a "with sympathy" card for a congratulations bouquet. Tried to follow up with Petals Network who were no help at all and used a standard "cut and paste" response to concerns; tried to contact the florist by phone several times and the number appears to be non existent.
Very poor customer service and very over priced and under delivered. =(
Omg the biggest rip of flowers ever…
Omg the biggest rip of flowers ever $150.00 for small bunch flowers and a cheap teddy bear ..
Flowers all dead this morning i feel so sad for the person I sent them to .. ok so nz petals would not do anything they needed photo. I was so sad/mad I saw the flowers and binned them .. DO NOT buy if this franchise the flowers are disgusting and the price is way way to expensive my lesson learned .. enjoy my 150.00 bucks
Petals refused to tell me if the $200 worth of flowers actually arrived or not
I ordered funeral flowers for a farewell in Australia I could not attend. Once paid for Petals Network would not tell me what the final bouquet sent looked like - no photo either - nor would they tell me if my flowers were delivered to the address I'd asked for them to be sent to. Obviously I am not going to harrass a grieving family to see if my flowers got there. I emailed info@Petals but they had nothing more to say.
