Ordered flowers for Mother's Day
Ordered flowers for Mother's Day. I received a message AFTER placing the order that they couldn't be delivered Sunday, despite Sunday delivery being available (and paid for). A subsequent email said Monday for delivery, but by Thursday, they still hadn't shown-up. My follow-up emails went unanswered, until I called and spoke to someone about a refund. Fingers crossed my refund comes through

Absolutely disgusting. Terminal cancer patient ordering for my wife for her birthday. Ordered well ahead of time. Deluxe arrangement with chocolates. Got a small bunch of flowers which fit in 1 hand and box of favourites with bar taped to side.
Only specification was dont deliver between 1pm and 4pm as would be at specialist. Was delivered at 3pm.
Supposed to be something nice for my wife who is also my cancer carer.
Ended up with rubbish.

Incredibly disappointed - and that's an understatement !
My kids ordered a delivery to send me as a surprise Mother's Day gift.
Being told it would be delivered on Saturday, in time for Mother's Day on Sunday.
They were informed it had "been delayed", and would arrive Monday - obviously completely missing the actual day!
They had to reveal the surprise and let me know to expect a delivery.
I waited home all day - it hadn't arrived by 4pm so I rang Petals. They advised they deliver up until 7pm and it would definitely arrive. It didn’t arrive.
I rang the next day - now it was Tuesday - well after Mother's Day, to be told it was out for delivery. I was not impressed and explained all the previous communication and how peeved I was and how embarrassing it is for the kids too! I said, I better not still be waiting until 7pm like I had the night before. She promised it would be before lunch for sure as it was with the courier.
Well, it did show up, but not til 2:30pm.
This whole scenario was stressful and completely spoiled a great surprise. My kids ordered a lovely surprise, sent with love and forward planning, only to be let down and frustrated.
There are multiple providers for delivering flowers out there and you will not be used again by our extended family. Your lack of empathy was poor and unprofessional and there was no apology nor compensation.

The flowers I ordered for Mother’s Day were completely different to what I ordered. I received a message the day they should have arrived to say they didn’t have any and that the florist would make up a bouquet equivalent in value to what I paid. I also ordered a vase and never received it.
I wasn’t given the option to cancel my order either.
The bouquet wasn’t worth what I paid and they didn’t arrive when expected.
I emailed them to ask for a partial refund since I never received the vase and the flowers weren’t what I expected. Haven’t heard anything back.
I would not recommend this company. They are a big rip off. Stay away from them at all cost!!!! Julie Kyle.

Absolute disappointment
Paid for a premium arrangement in a glass vase. I chose the Rosy Pink arrangement as my daughter is fighting breast cancer and just had a double mastectomy. The arrangement that was delivered was small, had very few flowers, lots of greenery (one side had no flowers) and was not pink at all!!! -all also totally different flowers than in the advertised arrangement. It was embarrassing. I was refunded the $30 I paid extra to upgrade from classic to premium, despite asking for it to be replaced or refunded in full. I feel ripped off and frustrated
Worst florist network ever
Worst florist network ever. Flowers that arrived were nothing like the photo and only half the size of flowers were sent. Vase was nothing like the picture. They just take your money. So embarrassing, was supposed to be for an engagement.
Was told my package would be…
Was told my package would be delivered on valentine's day between 1pm and 7pm. Contacted them the next day because it never turned up, they tried to tell me they are 100% positive they delivered it, tried to blame it on me for it not being delivered, thankfully was able to get a refund through my bank rather than them giving me one.

Poor quality, more leaves than flowers. Very disappointed in 2 deliveries in 3 months. Iris in bouquet last Tuesday were dead in 4 days.
Underwhelming to the max!
For just over $100 spent the actual flowers were extremely underwhelming. By the time you take off all the tissue you are left with 6 pieces of flax, 2 stems of miniature chrysanthemum, 2 blemished roses, 1 gerbra and 2 lillies which didnt even open. $45 bunch from Woolworths was so much nicer. Definitely do not recommend.
Very bad company
Very bad company, don’t trust them. My bouquet and bottle of wine never arrived and they sent me an email that went to my junk. Their excuse was that they didn’t have my mobile number but the next day they sent me a text message on same mobile to apologise for the inconvenience. It was my wife’s birthday, our wedding anniversary and Valentine’s Day and they spoiled it.
This company is completely unethical…
This company are completely unethical and lie to their customers. I specifically looked for a local florist for Auckland delivery - they are not even in New Zealand! Took a Valentines Day order, which is for this Saturday 14 Feb, and then tried to tell me that the flowers were already onboard for delivery a day early - as their NZ supplier 'doesn't do Saturday deliveries'. I wanted to cancel the order but they have refused and refused to refund my money. Absolute fraudsters - stay away!
Flowers didn't get delivered
Ordered online on Friday before the 12pm cut-off for same-day delivery. Got a message Friday afternoon to say the next courier run would be Saturday. Saturday I get a message saying they couldn't find a courier and the flowers would be delivered on Monday. Monday I receive a message saying the florist doesn't have white roses and would substitute pale pink ones instead, that's fine. However, the flowers were never delivered. I have contacted them numerous times asking for a refund and have received no reply. Do not recommend.

I ordered a premium bunch of flowers for my life long friend's birthday. But what ishe received was a total rip off and not worth the $140 I paid. I have since found out that the florist used, was only sent order for 100.00. Minus both Petals Network fee of $30 and the local florist's fee also $30, minus $18 for the tiny glass vase, left $52 for flowers. I was so disappointed and angry. YOU DONT GET WHAT YOU ORDERED. BUYER BEWARE.
If I could add photos I would, flowers also looked dead less than 24 hours later.

Terrible service. Three promises to deliver and none of them materialised. They cancelled my order days later. What a joke. Run! Do not waste your time or money
False trade description
I live in the UK and ordered a particular arrangement of flowers for my friend as she likes pink lilly's for her birthday (30th being her birthday)
I ordered the flowers Thursday evening and selected a delivery date (29/11/25).
This morning (UK time) I received an email telling me the flowers I selected are currently unavailable from florists in the area. Rather than delay my delivery, we've asked the florist to create a bespoke Florist's Choice design, using the freshest available flowers of equal value. As the design will be crafted individually by our florist, we're unable to provide a photo in advance or confirm exactly which flowers will be used. The final selection will depend on the freshest blooms available on the day, chosen with care by the florist. However, the look and colour scheme will differ significantly from the item I originally chose.
This absolutely is not acceptable and would expect better!!! With the short notice alerting me to the problem I had no chance to cancel the order and arrange something else for my friends birthday, I didn't even get given the choice, they just went ahead anyway with what ever they had, that is not what I paid for.
I don't even know if the flowers have been delivered!!!

I live in Sydney and a relative who lives in Dignams Creek passed away. I realise it's a small community, so I searched online for a florist that would deliver there. On the Petals website, I followed directions, selecting Dignams Creek suburb and post code from the drop-down box. I then selected the arrangement appropriate for a sympathy occasion. I paid a total of $192.90, which included a hefty delivery fee, but was happy to do so, as Dignams Creek is a 30-minute drive from Narooma. I had selected next day delivery so my relative would receive the flowers before the weekend, the funeral being a week later. The next day I received an email advising that delivery was unavailable to the area I had selected and I would be given a full refund! My disappointment was overwhelming, to say the least, because I had missed the delivery window. Most significantly, why have Dignams Creek as a delivery destination on their website if THEY DON'T DELIVER THERE!!! APPALLING NON-SERVICE. I am now actually in the area down from Sydney and intend to buy an arrangement myself, but would absolutely not buy from this florist on principle.
the most awful bunch of flowers
the flowers arrived a day late, they were old, tired looking, brown on the tips of the proteas and as i carried it from the delivery van to the house petals were dropping off. i am thoroughly disgusted having paid a small fortune for the assemblage. pleased to have added the teddy bear which was a pleaser to the recipient who was mourning.
Not what I ordered!
Perhaps I should have read the reviews before spending my money! However, whilst the order was delivered, it was not what I had ordered; the recipient was delighted with what she received, which included a vase that was not part of my original order, and for that I guess I should be grateful! Edit: After posting my review, I received a request from Petals for a photo of what was delivered, and as a consequence, it was decided I should receive a substantial refund. Now that is an example of service and good communication so I have revised my rating.
