Customer service appears to be non existent, it’s impossible to get through on the phone!

Tried to order last week and the item was out of stock, so I gave up and purchased the pet food elsewhere. On checking my bank today I have had just short of £50 taken, no emails or anything to confirm an order has even taken place .. tried to call, waited a life time and no one answered I’m at work so after half hour had to give up as I had my next appointment. The item is still advertised online as out of stock, so the company should not be taking money from my account for items they dont have available. I have absolutely no idea what is happening, if the order is arriving or not as I can’t speak to a human. I do not think it’s acceptable to take balances from customers accounts when you potentially have no stock of the item and cannot supply it knowing you could be leaving customers out of pocket/awaiting refunds. In addition, if you are taking money from accounts there should be some kind of email correspondence to confirm the order.

On the whole the company takes money from your account for stock they do not have, do not answer the phone so you cannot get any kind of clarification and do not send email confirmations to explain the balance taken. I do not recommend a company that takes money for items out of stock, dishonest and unreliable.

Good delivery

I read the reviews and thought what a good company, however, my experience has not been the best.
The quality of the food is amazing but the lack of customer service and communication is the reason for the poor review. I arranged my subscription for over £100.00 per month with the bottomless bowl, I waited a week for a 3 to 5 day delivery, no update, emailed, no response. I called and was advised the delay was due to not having the food we requested. So, I found an alternative supplier (local pet store) so cancelled the subscription and repeat order. On Friday Petshop took over £100.00 out of my account even though I have cancelled and having just spent over £100.00 on buying the dog food from the pet store, couldn’t speak to anyone on Friday as no one was taking calls, called this morning and now have to wait 3 to 5 days to refund money that should not have been taken. Not impressed.

So great to find a company that is British and started from scratch by a couple who care. I have cancelled my subscription with a large Pet Supplier. I will be using Petshop UK for all my cats requirements from now on.

I placed an order for dog food and delivery within three days. Five days later no sign of order and when I check status of my order on the website it says..in warehouse. I have sent emails and messages and getting no response and if I try to phone they are not accepting calls.
So seems like I've been scammed.

Just spent the evening cleaning out maggots from my kitchen! I ordered the bottomless bowl, which was about £60 of dog food in this case. Because I didn’t need it straight away I stored it in the kitchen. Trying to figure out what the smell was, 2 out of the 4 trays of Lilly’s kitchen wet food were damaged and absolutely crawling with maggots.

Two of our cats have health problems and sometimes we find it hard to purchase wet food from one site. After finding petshop.co.uk we can now buy what we require from one supplier. Good prices with speedy delivery.

Absolutely amazing . Customer appreshative staff . Will go above and beyond to help you . I do tell friends and family about their on line shop . Have been using them for month . And God willing I will keep using them

the customer service I recieved when my order was delivered to wrong address, Petshop rectified the issue the next day and I went from being frustrated that my items had not arrived to having a full replacement sent and an added extra for my dog. This was first time I used Petshop will use again.

Three days (so far) of non phone service????

After a weekend of being closed for calls, this is now day three of business working days of a message on their phone line that they are busy handling emails right now. So after someone can't reach you for the weekend, you extend it three more days??

Yes, I've written an email and no, you aren't responding to that either. This is absolutely not acceptable service that when someone has to reach you about an order, they can't. I thought it was unacceptable on a Monday after a weekend to extend a non-, reachable period. But to have it happen on Tuesday and Wednesday as well (again so far as it may extend to Thursday or Friday and round the circle we go).

Sorry but this is ridiculous beyond belief to forbid customers from reaching you. I'll look elsewhere for my pet's needs.

Delivery was not on time, we waited on the day but they did not arrive. I did not receive any message that they are not coming. It was delivered the next day at the same designated

I signed up to a Bottomless Bowl subscription with petshop.co.uk a few years ago as I was getting fed up shopping around then finding the product unavailable. I have a guaranteed supply of food for my dogs at a great price and with speedy delivery. I like supporting small businesses who also have great customer service
