We love how there is a person at the end of the phone. All the team are willing to help and make sure you have everything you need.

Our salon has been using Phorest now for a few years and are more than happy with it. We switched from a “free” software package which just didn’t allow us the flexibility, marketing, reporting like Phorest does. The software is always improving and the development team always take on board suggestions from salon owners too.
The onboarding process of transferring all appointments and client data from our previous software was easy and without any complications.
Overall, if you are considering software for your salon then I would highly recommend Phorest.

Absolutely love Phorest, it has been a game changer for my business. Easy to navigate for both staff and clients. Was simple to set up with the Phorest team and I’ve recommended to many others.

In my three years with Phorest, the service has generally been okay. However, a few frustration points arose, particularly in the second year, with a significant setback due to a security breach – unauthorized vouchers purchased, funds irrecoverable. Other challenges, like sudden direct debit halts without clear communication from Warisha, have been persistent. System downtime disrupts our business, and despite outstanding charges, their payment outreach is minimal. Unreliable email communication, inconsistent charges, and billing for unused SMS marketing add to the frustration.

The recent shutdown due to a payment issue is particularly vexing, especially with clients already booked. The lack of reasonable communication and resolution in their system closure threat raises serious concerns about their responsibility towards clients. Notably, we never had any payment issues before this incident.

I have been with Phorest for around 2-3 years, my issues started in September 2022, over a year ago, not having the support needed, reluctant to give me help while I was trying to get an app developed. They started charging me for this when they weren’t helping to actually make it leaving me paying over £600 for a service I did not receive!! I am still yet to receive a refund!!

I have been fighting since JUNE this year, 7 months, and only now that i have mentioned I’m going to leave due to all the issues I’ve had (my system has been freezing which they can’t fix, the app is having issues as our clients are phoning to say they can’t confirm their appointments online, which again phorest have not fixed, and on top of this I had been overcharged for texts.)

After bringing these issues to phorests attention they couldn’t fix the issues and to this day we have constant issues with our system freezing, deleting appointments and of course the issues with the online booking not working, and not a goodwill gesture in sight even though we are paying in full & paying a small fortune!

After phoning for months they finally came back to me with what they thought was an answer to my refund, they would refund the money they wrongfully took from me ONLY IF I signed a contract to stay for a further 12 months!!! Absolute shambles!!!

As soon as I mentioned I was leaving due to not being refunded and all the other issues , they offered for the money to be credited to my phorest account - they only offered me that knowing that I had my intentions to leave.

The amount of my time phorest has wasted is beyond a joke, as a busy business owner we do not have the time to deal with a company like this, filled with nothing but lies, terrible customer service, theft, empty promises and a system that is the most expensive around but yet doesn’t work - a total circus. AVOID.

Have been a loyal customer of Phorest since the very beginning, which probably says a lot about how good they are. The product is great, the support is great and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
I'm sure there a cheaper alternatives but in this case you definitely get what you pay for 100%.

I moved to Phorest a few years ago now and I can quite honestly say that I could not imagine being able to run my business without it.

The features that it brings together into one place is unmatched by any other software and the recent introduction of the social media advertising manager and detailed digital consultations is just one example of how these people do not stand still when it comes to developing and innovating an already excellent product.

From the initial excellent demonstration with Phydos which was extensive, detailed and left no stone unturned (I’ve never had such a brilliant and enthusiastic software demo ever) through to the incredibly supportive setup and the. Ongoing support and business advice from the ever accommodating and wonderful Richard; Phorest really feels like more of a partnership rather than a mere salon software service.

I’ve also recently taken on their card terminals in both my salon locations and not only is the end of day easier but card-less checkout, fast in house deposits and not to forget the monumental increase in staff tips are all positive assets that have come from the Phorest stable. A shout out to Ciaran, Craig, Isak and Sacha for all the help and advice in moving to the Phorest Pay terminals too.

One of the very useful things I find from a business point of view is the scalability of the Phorest system and how easily additional branch locations are able to be added to the package and coupled with the terminals, Phorest very much allows one to form a replicable blueprint when it comes to expansion of your brand into new locations.

I’d highly recommend Phorest and am happy to personally answer any queries any prospective people thinking about moving to Phorest - I have no affiliation to Phorest but am a regular and very happy business owner that uses it on a daily basis.

Oh and the new Phorest Go app is incredible - it’slike having your entire business in your pocket which is huge peace of mind.

There’s lots more that could be said and it would all be positive.

I am a previous customer and was let down from the very booked demonstration. They then overcharged thousands of pounds over and over again for a basic limited system. Do not use this company. Months and months of wrong charges, eventually I got fed up and used Timely instead for a fraction of the cost and better booking system.

BE AWARE! THIS COMPANY IS GOING DOWNHILL FAST!
If I could give a zero rating I would! Giving a bad review goes against my principles as a business owner but In this case I'm making an exception!
I've been a loyal customer of phorest for several years and over the past 18 months I've experienced major problems, including not being able to market to my database, which is having a detrimental effect on my business. I have complained weekly over a several month period and been ignored. I have been unable to change providers because the client data I've collected over the past 15 years whilst running a successful business has been provided in such a way to make it near impossible for it to be pieced back together to import into another providers software. If you want to pay anything up to £300 per month for little to no customer service, software you cannot use to market to your clients, risk all your current and future client data then this is definatley the business software for you!

I have been unable to reply to the response from Phorest, however we are now 25.7.23 and still no resolution and emails and calls remain unanswered! WOW!

Working with Phorest has always been extremely easy and intuitive. I love that help is always on hand if needed and I love how quickly you are able to speak with a real person who can help guide you.
Phorest is always helpful and looking for feedback on how to improve.
I like that everything is easy to find. Big buttons, does what it says.. Easy to input data, maybe too easy that people just don't input anything else apart from name, tel and email and still saves it? I like the email functionality which is free, SMS functionality but it is paid. Also can link to social media, which is good for salons with less than 3 branches (easier to manage the content). Like the online store, do needs some improvements that I know they will work on it.
