Love phorest , so many great reports!

Phorest has all the features we need and so much more, the ability to sync with our online store make stock controls a breeze. Sending clients their consultation forms prior to their appointment saves use so much time. Our clients love the rewards system, and being able to check how many points within the client app. Staff love having the PhorestGo app being able to check their day before coming into work.
And the support very quick response times.
I highly recommend Phorest.

My company has been operating off of Phorest software since July of 2020. As our industry in my area was shut down from the covid-19 pandemic, I heavily researched 5-6 software programs. I discovered Phorest was well above the competition in terms of marketing capabilities & growth potential. Our onboarding process was not seamless, but it was organized. I would not recommend onboarding your team without the help from Phorest's support representatives, especially if your business has more than one location (we had 4). Fast forward to now, almost 3 years later, Phorest has made impactful software enhancements every single year. Some things that impact my review & prevent 5-stars is that I do miss having a main contact for our account, SMS marketing can get unexpectedly expensive if you're not careful/trained, the online booking experience could be easier for users, and the waitlist function doesn't work for us, to name a few. Overall, I continue to see Phorest evolve & expand with the changing industry, thus causing new features to be released that are appreciated by both our guests and staff alike.

Very innovative company,always looking for ways to improve and make our lives easier and more productive. After a quick chat with one of the team I mentioned something that wasn't really a big issue but they went straight ahead to the IT department and altered it. So happy I made the choice to have the Phorest system in my salon

I took on phorest thinking that it would boost my business.
Firstly they don’t tell you the price is plus vat which added onto a massive price, makes it to be over £100 extra a month than other places. This was worst decision to take on this company. I will be paying £158 a month for basic technology that other companies are doing far better.
The charges more than other companies. All the reviews you get go nowhere, unlike Fresha which put on a profile to get you more people in. I really wish I never took this on. Now I’m stuck for a year paying all this money for a basic software

Worst customer service! No training provided
Over priced promise you world but you get nothing you signed into contract you can’t get out off.
System basic

I am a ex-customer of a salon, Opium Beauty in Garforth that has ceased trading. My future appointments and deposits are held by Phorest. I have contacted Phorest several times to request that they cancel the appointments and refund my deposits. Unfortunately they will not assist. I would be very wary as a customer or business of using this company.

This is in my experience the best salon software around . I’ve used others before and nothing compares to the reports that I can get on my business . My accountant loves it to . The technical support is amazing even for a technophobe like me . Highly recommended to anyone wanting to take their salon to the next level and keep growing .

Phorest are just fantastic! I recommend this salon software to every salon owner I know. They have changed the game with the online booking system and the customisable online deposit option. Which means the salon is no longer out of pocket when a client is a no show. Their email campaigns have helped me generate thousands of additional income. I live the client reconnect function which effortlessly sends an email to clients who haven’t been in for a while, which further generates more income. I could not be without Phorest!!

After finally signing up to their 1yr subscription the support has been non-existent. Support doesn't answer any questions or emails at all. They don't react to critical app errors or crashes.
Phorest was founded in 2002 and that's very obvious from the looks and design of the Windows software. It's clearly from that era, still. It's clumsy, outdated, ugly and has zero configurability even in most basic features.
Phorest is the last dinosaur in the modern era of web-based booking systems. It lacks upsell features, online booking customization and many other standard online booking features.
I was promised by sales that there will be a web-based system coming in Q1/2022. That's my only hope, hence the 2nd star. Otherwise, in it's current state, I would stay very far away from this ancient relic. I cannot recommend this to anyone.

Originally my impression of Phorest Salon Software was very good but we've been using them now for almost one year and the services is extremely poor.

I've updated my review based on progress. Whilst things are improving and communication is much better, we are still weeks behind being fully up and running because of the delays. That being said, the more we are managing to get set up with the software, the more impressed we are with it. Let's hope this continues.
