Pipes & Cigars Avis 26

I was fraudulently enrolled in a recurring membership service of Pipes Plus. I was automatically enrolled without my permission or knowledge. I demanded to be dis-enrolled immediately and was told I was and was sent an email confirming such. However, today, my bank account was charged $18.14 by Pipes Plus for that subscription service that I DID NOT REQUEST. Indeed, this was the second time I was charged. Apparently, after reading all of the complaints, this is an essential part of the Pipes Plus business model. They need to lose their business license.

DO NOT ORDER FROM PIPES AND CIGARS. I placed an order on Feb. 19 2026 it was not processed until Feb. 26. I had to call 3 times to find out the what the hold up was. After my first call I was promised 2 day expedited shipping to make up for the delay, never received that. I was unable to secure a tracking number on my first or second call because I was told they were updating their shipping network. The third call I was able to get tracking information but only after threat of cancelling the order and stopping payment through my bank. The payment sat on a card hold until Feb. 26. The customer service agents were clueless and made promises they had no intentions of keeping. I was given a $30 credit but the code they sent me was invalid.

I am beginning to think that P&C is no longer an American owned company. The company is supposedly headquartered in Pennsylvania but all transactions were listed in North Carolina. It has been a horrible experience and I would caution any new customers to look elsewhere.

Great company which always offers a discount….fast shipping…great price..just wish they had a better selection of pipes and bulk tobacco for blending..smoking pipes has a far better selection of pipes and tobacco.. but hardly ever give discount.. and prices are noticeably higher..more money to qualify for free shipping..if I find a pipe ( major brand) that I like I will check with pipes and cigars to see if they stock and often I purchase from P & C with a savings of twenty or more dollars I think P & C has their feet in to many places … a little in cigars ..a little in pipes.. a little in tobacco…unfortunately I want a lot of pipes and a lot of bulk blending tobacco..so smoking pipes is my go to…

This company first requested that I send copies of my drivers license to verify my age. When I did that, they then sent me another email to verify my age. When I contacted them that I had already done that, they then said they got it and would send it to my address which was NOT the address I wanted it mailed to. When I told them that they had the address wrong, they said it was too late to change the order. This company is run by idiots and incompetent tools. I canceled my order and subscription and am now waiting to see if they will refund my money. I paid upfront with Paypal, and I will never even attempt to do business with them again. Worst customer service and responses I have ever encountered.

Terrible Company--be aware that they will charge you a recurring amount without telling you! Stay away

I ordered a gift for my FIL at the beginning of the month. I’ve received about three emails requesting age verfication. Contacted customer support and heard nothing. $40 down the drain. Won’t be buying from them again (or ever I guess).

I’m not one to complain about anything. I NEVER leave reviews. I ordered a pipe for my husband on December 1st and it STILL HASNT SHIPPED! I have spoken to customer service twice and they don’t know anything. The lady on the phone said since I’m a first time customer it takes longer. Whatever that means. In the process of purchasing through pipes and cigars my credit card was hacked and someone tried purchasing cigars from that store. All of this makes me feel like this company is NOT legit. I will NEVER use this company again. I doubt they care.

Just got off the phone with customer service as my order was delivered to the wrong address. Amy was professional and handled my problem quickly and efficiently. They are sending a replacement order out to me today. Will definitely buy from here again.

Ordered several times with no problems, Then started getting a monthly recurring charge with no email and nothing shipped. "Customer Service" just transfers you around and leaves on hold.

Ordered and paid for pipe, never recieved and after complaining never got tefund, scam company who wants copy of your ID, after you pay, probably to sell as I've ordered pipes from several other companies and they easily verified my age without ID

Kept sending emails wanting age verification. Even after I replied with what they asked for they never shipped my order. Terrible company! Avoid at all cost!!!

I started noticing charges on my account that I did not authorize. $18.14 on a recurring charge. Tried calling. Nobody would answer. Emailed them. No response. My bank is returning the fraudulent charges.

Cannot get on the site when I tapped pipes and cigars in on my Google search? It blocked me straight away? What’s the point in doing things like this? You will not get my custom unless I can get on the site can you please resolve this?

Piss poor customer service that's outsource to non English speaking countries... They have no intention of customer service since they only want your money and will charge more after the sale has been finalized and shipped...

Ordered 4 tins of 1.5 ounce each danish tobacco. Received 4 ounces in a plastic bag. Called customer service, spoke to a woman in India who repeatedly said they only have loose by the ounce. My order clearly shows 1.5 oz tins, and i am missing an additional 2 ounces. If they don't have it they shouldn't take the money for it!

Do not use this company! Have ordered from them multiple times but this last time has been a nightmare. They did not send me my order but charged me a $9 shipping fee and sent a free calendar that I didn't want nor order. They will illegally charge your card and it is so hard to get a hold of anyone at that company. They will make it drag out for weeks. Absolute nightmare, do not recommend this company to anyone, they are crooks.

Ive had really experiences with them in the past but this year its like a different Not So Good company.They need new staff on the phones or maybe retrain the staff they are using.

Arrived a bit later then expected. The only complaint - they never provided the tracking number and didn't provide any information regarding my order. Although the order arrived today, the order status on their site is still "processing" how it was 9 days ago. Customer service never responded, subject to be improved.

Took money from my debit card & never shipped the product. No response from customer service. Do not buy from this fraud site

I hadn't ordered from Pipes and Cigars for quite some time, and my most recent order, through my inattention, was shipped to my previous address. When I inquired as to why the tracking said that the order was delivered I learned of my mistake. This reputable company is reshipping my order, with accelerated shipping at No Cost to Me.
There isn't much more that a company can do to help the customer. 5 plus stars
