No loyalty incentive
I got some great deals before during and after the Cambria "merger." I spent several grand at both sites in recent years, but shortly after buying an unusual Bosch-equipped ebike on steep discount, they lowered its price by about $400.
I had also purchased a Levo from Performance Bike that went down a few hundred bucks a week later, and they gave me store credit in that amount.
Neither Cambria nor Planet Cyclery responded to my emails requesting similar treatment, so my cycling habit's needs will henceforth be met elsewhere.

One star
I’m giving this company one star because my son ordered a bicycle without my initial approval. I contacted the company immediately to cancel the order, but I was told it was too late and that I would have to return it within 90 days at my own expense for shipping.
Since I had already planned to buy my son a bike anyway, I decided to keep the order. However, when the bicycle arrived, it was not the bicycle that was originally ordered. The color was different, and several other details of the bike were different as well.
Luckily, my son decided he was okay with keeping the bike, so we did not go through the hassle and expense of returning it. However, receiving a different bicycle than the one ordered was very disappointing, and the overall experience was not what I expected.

I would have given 5 stars because I thought I was getting about $140 with the sale and promotional code. But then you add tax and handling charge. It’s understandable but wasn’t aware until after purchase. I could have bought through another company with out the added tax. (And we all know we pay enough taxes the way it is.) But I will still be doing business with Planet Cyclery .
