Play Netball Avis 

Would give 0 stars if I could. Week after week our matches have been cancelled as close as an hour before we were due to play, put down to reasons such as ‘lack of umpires’. On more than one occasion we’ve shown up ready to play, and been locked out of the hall, or found the court unsuitable to play and had to leave, with no communication from Play Netball. Dozens of members of the league have emailed complaining time and time again, and get given the same weak excuses from the ‘organizers’. I would absolutely avoid Play Netball like the plague, it’s a complete shambles

I thoroughly enjoy playing netball in this league. Great social league for getting back into netball, having a laugh and improving your fitness levels!
My team always leave smiling every Thursday!
Umpires are all very friendly and welcoming!
Never had any issues with payments etc.
Would highly recommend!

Really fun & friendly league. Started playing again after about 15 years and was very rusty but the umpires and everyone are always so patient and take time to explain decisions and give tips! Would highly recommend to anyone

I play in both the Tuesday and Thursday Southampton leagues and manage a team. The league is well organized with a good level of communication (via email and FB pages), and match scores/fixtures are updated promptly on the website. It's a social league with a good balance of competitiveness whilst remaining fun and friendly.
I've been in some truly awful netball leagues but our team was more than happy to pay extra to play in the Play Netball league.

Really well organised games and a great social league to be a part of. The refs are great and so are all the girls that play. So glad I joined the league

I love play netball! I've met so many lovely people and everyone is really friendly. I look forward to every Thursday when we get to play.

I’ve played in a Play Netball league for about 3 years now and I look forward to every match. I’ve met wonderful people and it’s a great way to stay fit and get some fresh air.

Great league to be a part of. I’ve played for over a year with play netball. The organisation is really good as is communication. It’s easy to get in touch with play netball HQ if you have any troubles in setting up your team etc.

The games run efficiently and the Facebook groups are a great way to get new players. Umpires are always happy to explain rules and help you improve.

Really fun and friendly Legue,great way to not only get some fitness in, but in making really great friendships .
Look forward to Thursday so I can run the week's frustration out and just have a good Laugh .

Love playing netball every Tuesday and Thursday. Always have fun, the umpires are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed it on a Tuesday so entered a new team into a Thursday league with work colleagues who all love playing too!

Really happy to be out playing netball again for the first time in 20 years. Mostly lovely league (you can't please everyone). The online system for viewing league and future games availability seems to work well!

You should only need to pay for the season you're currently playing in, if your team wishes to leave that's fine, you won't be charged for the new season. If you haven't already please email info@play-netballXxx so we can resolve this problem so your team isn't re-entered into the next season.’

We don’t have a team to enter and we are not using their services any longer we gave 1 weeks notice before the league started again

We are still being told we have to pay …. Liars will have to go legal now Avoid at all costs

Bunch of cowboys. Absolute rip-off leagues, try to tie you in, make it impossible to leave and make threats when you won't pay.

The leagues themselves are poorly organised, there's little regard for player safety and a lack of duty of care by most umpires.

Do not waste your money. You're better off finding a nice locally-organised league.

This is a scam! Me and my friend joined and paid the £50 fee online months ago and we’ve heard nothing and we’ve left endless voice mails and heard nothing back from Play Netball.

Following posting this review the Operations Manager of Achieve Sports has been in contact and has been really helpful and responsive. If only we’d had such a response straight away but better late than never!

I was assigned to a team, and added to their whats app group. I played for them for around six games and was added to their whats app group. I replied to every email twice a week confirming my availability/unavailability for the next match. After two family grievances in close proximity, I kept responding to the automated emails declining my attendance at two matches but did not tell the whats app group (two weeks silence on the whats app group). When I returned from sick leave I had been removed from the whats app group and stoped receiving emails from Play Netball, after I had just paid the for the season.

I tried contacting play netball directly but received no response. I do not recommend this company to anyone who values good communication skills, team work and integrity.

Worst company ever , very unprofessional and unorganised, one of the referees very bitchy , rude and lazy didn’t know how to do her job and was argumentative, poor company weather was constant bad so paid £40 to probably play 5 games in the season and didn’t even get a refund
