Jossy was a great group leader for our trip to Peru. She was fun, kind and always had suggestions for what we could do to make the most of our time in this beautiful country. Some highlights were seeing Machu Picchu - 6am tickets meant it felt like we had the whole citadel to ourselves. White water rafting and zip lining were great. Night under the stars in the Huacachina desert was very cool. However, I give three stars because there were flaws with the trip itinerary - long bus rides that could be avoided, number of days spent in each place that should be changed, return train journey from Machu Picchu not included and long bus ride along mountainous roads given instead, use of Peru Hop for the first part of the trip which gives a really touristy feel, as opposed to if the group used a private bus.

Peru was my first trip with plotpackers and my first group trip. I loved the experience and got to see so many places I wouldn’t have thought to go if I was solo. Our guide Jossy was the absolute sweetest and helped the whole experience to run smoothly!

This was my first solo trip and it was such an amazing experience! I’m an 18 year old girl from the states so I was hesitant about leaving the country alone but plot packers made it so smooth and easy! I did the Costa Rica trip and our guide Olman was amazing! He was so kind and helpful and always made sure we were safe and taken care of. He made the experience really special and always helped us find the best deals for excursions. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the country and its wildlife. I loved traveling with him and the other girls as it felt like one happy family by the end. Overall I’d rate this trip a 10/10 and recommended it to anyone wanting to explore Costa Rica.

Olman our guide was absolutely amazing. Kind, knowledgable, and fun - he was a great person to lead our group through Costa Rica and made us (a group of young girls) feel very safe throughout the entire trip. I could not recommend him as a guide enough! The trip was great and everything was handled by Olman, he also helped with anything else we might want to do in our free days as well as transport so it was a very easy, stress free trip. He knew each place we went very well so took us to the best places to eat and great recommendations which was an added bonus. I could not recommend this tour of Costa Rica enough, I think all the places we visited were great and there was lots of activities to fill our time with as well as lots of included activities on many days!

What would have been helpful is some instruction/information best way to travel from airport to accommodation but I didn’t ask as I’m sure with hindsight this would have been provided. I would happily use again and recommend

I had a great experience traveling with Plotpackers in Peru. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and the itinerary ran smoothly according to schedule.

As someone who doesn’t speak Spanish, having guides who spoke both English and Spanish made the trip much easier and less stressful. A special thanks to Jossy, who was incredibly friendly, patient, and always willing to help. She made sure everyone understood the plan and was comfortable throughout the journey.

Transportation, accommodations, and activities were all well arranged, so I could simply enjoy the beautiful destinations without worrying about the logistics. I would definitely recommend Plotpackers to anyone planning a trip to Peru

Jossy was a great tour guide and was very helpful with anything we needed through out the trip and she kept us updated with what we were doing next so we didn’t have to worry about anything.

The only thing I would say is the itinerary could be a bit clearer when booking, with optional activities, that they use peru hop to get about, and some timings but otherwise I was happy with the experience!

This trip was well organized. Our amazing tour guide Pear Yong kept track of all travel information and got us from place to place with ease. I felt like I could relax and turn my brain off because I knew she had everything lined up for us. Having Pear as our tour guide really made our experience what it was. She was friendly, kind, and so willing to help with anything we needed. The trip/activities themselves were also a great. I felt like I got to see a lot of different places without it ever being to much at once. Overall it was a great trip!

I had an amazing time traveling around India with my group and with my guide Arvind. He was such an amazing guide, so entertaining, made sure we were safe everywhere we went, and participated in so much with us. My group was a smaller group but it was an amazing experience. Got to see so many sites within a week!!

FIRST EVER SOLO TRIP!! And it was amazing! I booked this trip with plotpackers as I was initially scared of travelling on my own and wanted to ease myself into it… best decision I have made. So many memories, so many friends and well worth what we paid! We had a lovely lady called Pear who travelled with us for the entirety of the trip; and she could not have been any more helpful. Pear is lovely and for those who will have her on your trip, you are privileged! She is an absolute godsend and will help you and advise you on anything else you need. We love you pear and wish you the best in the future! If you are planning on solo traveling and not sure where to start… start with plotpackers, you won’t regret it! #ThailandJune2026❤️

Travelled many times with Plotpackers and am always amazed by how much they can pick into a trip, especially for the price point! It’s such a great way of making friends and feeling safe while travelling. Very fond memories made on these trips, would absolutely recommend 💞

I’ve just come back from a life-changing trip to Peru!!! Not only was Peru an incredible country with great landscapes and cities, we had crazy activities included in our package, eg. sand boarding, glamping, mountain biking and of course Machu Picchu tickets included !! Our tour guide Deborah was amazing too, extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, she felt like one of us.

Deborah was an amazing guide! She cared so much for each and every single group member. Thanks to Plotpackers as well for an amazing itinerary.

I had the most amazing time in Peru thanks to my guide Jossy. She was so helpful in each place we went, giving us lots of recommendations for restaurants, markets and cafes - all of which were amazing. Jossy helped to ensure we had the best trip by securing us first access to buses which was so helpful for the long journeys - she knew the bus operators well. Each night Jossy organised a group dinner so we could all eat together and discuss the day we’ve had and the plan for the next day. I would really recommend travelling to Peru with PlotPackers!

Overall the structure of the trip was terrible. Although Our guide Jossy was very kind.

The trip did not allocate enough time to properly eat meals when travelling from place to place. The amount of travelling was not healthy for me and others on board. Moving from hostel to hostel every single night did not allow us to enjoy where we were staying. From being so burned out from driving we barely got to see the places we were going.

The trip was not authentic to the way it was advertised. It says they are making sure it doesn’t contribute to mass tourism but everything we did was mass tourism. The hostels we stayed at were typically international so I question how much is going to the local economy. Staying at less places for longer would have made the trip much better but because we constantly moved we barely had anytime to enjoy the places we stayed.

We visited a plantation and there was barely any regard for the harms colonization caused to the local populations. It was framed as they were conquered and even the way it was explained made it sound fine or neutral instead of a mass genocide. There was no moment of silence or anything to be mindful of what happened there.

They said some meals were included but did not specify that there was barely any included. And they made the local food sound quite cheap but based on the places we were staying the food close by was much more expensive than anticipated. The meals that were included were very poor quality. Often cold or left out for a long time making eating unappetizing.
I had trouble on the trip getting such bad heartburn I got sick. Our guide was on the bus back while I chose to take the train back. I couldn’t get up without getting sick and she was difficult to contact because she did not have data. The guides should have fully provided data in case of an emergency and the fact they do not is absolutely ridiculous and a huge safety concern.

Near the end we got back to Cusco and we were stuck in a room with people who were not in our group. This was never specified on the trip at all as staying with a group is assumed for the entire duration.

During the whole trip there was a lack of clarity of what was happening next. We often were getting into random sprinter vans and needed to ask how long the drive would take. These details should be in the itinerary so we know exactly how long we are driving.

There were times we had such a lack of direction that many of us were in our swim suits freezing after white water rafting and there were no facilities to change and we needed to drive back to the hostel sandy, wet and cold.

There were times we ate breakfast at 7 am and didn’t eat lunch until 2. This is not healthy especially when driving for long periods of time.

The day of the Machu Picchu hike, they gave us a banana, juice box and cereal bar for breakfast. I bought extra snacks to make up for the lack of breakfast but it was not a proper meal. We also were scheduled to go to Machu Picchu at 6 am making us hike at 4 am. And for the first 2.5 hours it was complexly fogged over. And that would be okay if it’s just the weather but they said it’s like this every morning. So WHY make us go so early so not even see it until 9 am. The trip was poorly planned and was not organized with tourists best interest at heart but instead whatever they could do to make it as cheap and low quality as possible. While still being quite expensive with a lack of meals included.

I’d like to request a refund for the trip as I believe it was false advertising and did not align with the values plotpackers claims to have.

If I could leave no stars i would. I did admittedly book and pay a deposit, realising that the deposit would be non refundable, but after my own circumstances changing, and the high fuel costs due to the war, I withdrew my spot for a tour arranged by a YouTuber. Apart from the obvious change in the way the youtuber was towards me, as a fan and subscriber, was disheartening and disappointing, I still thought I can use the deposit for a different tour regardless. But each time I tried to email or get on my account, I had no response and unable to log in or reset my password on the account. Yes they are a small company, but I definitely would not trust them if any issues while away arose. They're slow response took days, to weeks, and to the point that I only received a response when my email became irrate. This company has a very poor customer service that now I am out of pocket almost $200 aud, as I refuse to put my trust in them to travel overseas, especially during this war. Regardless of being a small company, it is very unprofessional, but no excuse for poor customer service. Be weary. I so hope this dodgy company does not respond to this, as I am so irriated by their lies and excuses. Those that have had good experiences were just lucky or probably in the know of the unprofessional staff.

Plotpackers completely exceeded my expectations for my first-time booking a tour! It is incredible value for money, and Peru was absolutely surreal. Our guide, Jossy, was amazing and truly the loveliest person ever. The group was so friendly and we all bonded instantly. Everything was flawless from start to finish. I’d book again with Plotpackers in a heartbeat!

I had an amazing trip to Iceland with plotpackers. The culture and the scenery was so beautiful and unforgettable. A special thanks so Sara and Jose who made the trip even more enjoyable for our group. Both were so kind and worked really hard to make sure we all saw everything we wanted (plus a few amazing extras). Accommodation was right in the city centre so super easy to find everything you’ll need. I honestly couldn’t recommend this trip more.

Disgusting company. Booked a trip for 2K Euros. Wanted to cancel the trip and get reimbursement, and you want to know their reimbursement policy? If you cancel 90 days before the trip. They don’t give your money back. They give you a ******* voucher. They keeping the money. If you cancel 90 days or sooner than the trip. They take a cancellation fee of a price of a ticket… So if you book a flight for 5K euros and you want to cancel your reservation, they will take 5K in cancellation fee. Such a scam bags is hard to find. Don’t deal with them, if you don’t want to lose your money and nerves.
