Good service all round and prompt delivery

We had been wondering for a long time how to deal with a scruffy pine suite in our conservatory. Then we took the plunge and arranged for a Plumbs consultation. The gentleman was extremely helpful and from thereafter there was no looking back. The covers are beautiful. We are delighted and can recommend Plumbs.

Recently took up an offer in Saga Magazine for £50 off plus 50% off certain fabrics. I was limited to 2 fabrics, because of colour I wanted. To be able to take full advantage of the discounts I chose the cheaper fabric. I'm NOT disappointed. My sofa looks brand new and will be easy to keep clean with washing instructions given. Time will tell how it wears, but I have no reason to disbelieve Andrew in his reports of sofas looking good 15years later.

The curtains are of very good quality material and look fantastic in the room. They blend perfectly with the existing decor.
The members of staff I met with were punctual, friendly and helpful and obviously very knowledgable about the product/service they were selling.
All in all I found the service exemplary and I was very impressed.

Great service and covers

We were thinking for a while to either renew or recover our two settees. After checking on prices to renew, we decided to get Plumbs to quote for recovering. We were happy with their quote and very very happy with the end result. The workmanship was excellent. I would definitely recommend Plumbs.

The whole process was very easy. The people who came to our house were very courteous and were not pushy. Didn't feel hurried into making a decision. This is the 3rd time we have used Plumbs. Would be very happy to use them again. We were delighted with the curtains and covers we ordered

I ordered my covers for a large sofa and arm chair.
In feb...
The sofa cover came.. the armchair top cover was the wrong size,
I paid a deposit of £500.
But heard nothing from them for 4 weeks. It spoilt the over all look of my furnichair,
Eventally it came . I paid the remaining, £375.
It looks nice.
But at the end of the day
They are just covers £875 later
So no i would not recommend them,at all.
I felt they dont care, they just want as much money as they can get..
If i had the time over again.
I would not buy from plumbs
My overall experience was poor customer service..no concern for "just another customer

Lack of communication to start with. Misunderstandings and wrong information sent.
However, I could not fault the lady that measured and fitted my covers.
Discovered faulty stitching which is resulting in my covers being returned for repairs.
Quality of fabric is excellent.

The chair-seats are sumptuous but so much so that they fit only with difficulty in the frames!
The service was excellent and friendly.

Quick, polite and helpful

The best bit was meeting Denise, having her help. Much easier to choose fabric in vivid. I found it hard to look at things well on your site. Very helpful her measuring and hanging curtains. I like the blinds I bought and the fabric and went ahead because I’d arranged the appointment but it was a pest having then to organise someone else to put them up. Maybe you could think about linking your reps with local handymen ?

Whilst the reupholstery work on the sofa and dining chairs is satisfactory, the overall experience has been disappointing.
The lead time of four months was excessively long. In addition, when the furniture was eventually returned, not all of the required fire-resistant labels had been attached to the cushions.
We have had to chase this matter on several occasions. Initially, adhesive labels were sent, which are clearly not suitable for this purpose. Today we have received four tie-on fire-resistant labels; however, we are still twelve labels short.
