Good quality clothes.
Fit is sometimes a bit erratic - some styles come up big and others small. I bought a few things from them- some work wonderfully for me but others- although they were beautiful - looked awful on me (but I shouldn't expect to turn into the model in the catalogue just by putting them on). I found the returns process very simple and they even sent me an extra returns label by post when I requested one. Understand some of the comments here about a lot of stock being made in China but the quality is good and their customer service was absolutely excellent. They could probably strengthen their ethics policy (you can read it on the website)

I have shopped at Poetry for a few years. My experience has been very positive; their central customer service team are excellent and always 'go that extra mile ' to help. The on-line service is easy because of the way everything is packaged in a slim cardboard box, which makes returns easy.
In addition, the system of being able to make an appointment instore and have the clothes you want to try on ready when you arrive, in the correct sizes, is fantastic. I travel to the Chelsea shop and the staff are lovely - consistently welcoming and helpful without any pressure.
....and i love most of the clothes, design and colourways, and the quality.

Items are good quality and customer service okay but like another of the reviewers I found I suddenly started getting catalogues from other companies I'd never had any contact with. Definitely coming via Poetry as I had used a specific nickname on my order. I won't order from them on that basis alone.

I ordered so many items from this company but unless you have super model proportions, forget it. I sent back my usual size 10 trousers for 8, and although the waist fit the crotch was half way to my knees, the fabrics are gorgeous , and the styles are lovely, just the type of thing I’d go for but the sizing is just rediculous, not just big but out of proportion, such a shame, maybe do a petite range, then us normal folk can get a look in

I was about to click on the pay button and spend £600.00 When i thought i had better check with trust pilot first, and so glad I did. I must say I was rather shocked at the reviews but also relieved. I decided not to shop with this company as I trust Trustpilot's reviews 100%. Sorry Poetry, I have to trust the bad reviews. I have recently visited your store and liked what i saw but didn't purchase.

I’ve only recently starting buying from this company - a couple of linen tops and a pair of trousers. They seem to be of good quality and I like the style and the natural fibres. The clothes do seem to run big and based on helpful customer reviews I sized down from my usual 10 to an 8 which worked well.

I’ve only given 3 stars because I didn’t appreciate the fact the garments are made in China which is a big put off for me and I won’t order again in future because of this. Also, although the packaging is(unnecessarily?)impressive I’d rather have been offered free postage and packing for an order over a certain amount.

I have twice ordered several items of knitwear, shirts, trousers, dresses and footwear online. I’ve changed my style since finding Poetry clothing. I love the colour palettes, the softness of the natural fibres on my skin, how I can mix and match different pieces together and the quality of the fabrics. I genuinely look forward and feel happier getting dressed in Poetry clothing. It’s reassuring that everything is made from natural fibres and will last a long time. Thank you

I ordered one thing from them using guest checkout, then a few weeks later I started to receive their catalogues in the post. From them and their sister brands as well! Excuse me, when did I agree to having your marketing pap posted to my home address? What an incredibly stupid marketing strategy. The item of clothing was H&M quality and not at all worth the price. It's probably made in the same sweatshop in SE Asia.

I bought a coat from Poetry Fashion.
The item is very well made. I received good advice on the phone and by email, regarding the order and the size. The item was well packed and quickly delivered. My experience is positive.
Though, be aware that their sizes are big. I have been advised to take a size 8 instead of a size 10 and it was a good advice.

I bought a number of dresses from this company for the first time over the summer. I wore one of them twice and then found there to be fraying on the stitching at the waist and around a number of the buttonholes. Having paid almost £80 for the item I was not happy with the quality and returned it, only to be told there was "no fraying" and the dress was returned to me before I had a chance to reply. I am shocked at the poor customer service provided, the implication that I had imagined or invented the fault but above all the very poor quality of the manufacturing. These clothes are poorly made and I suspect a huge profit margin is generated by each item.

Bought the pale denim hemp jeans this summer and must say I like them probably more than any more jeans I own (or have owned), love the colour, fit and comfort.

Not spending £300 + for a coat made in China!

I have purchased clothing from Poetry for a number of years and have found it to be a completely satisfying experience. The garments are stylish in a pared down way and well made. I particularly like the hemp and organic cotton, sensibly priced and washes so well. Hung up there is no need to iron.

Had several items from Poetry and I’m impressed with the designs and materials used - Linens, silk and cashmere are my favourites. Good fit and excellent service - parcels arrive nicely packaged. Would recommend

I returned some linen shorts (£79) which were faulty. As I needed them for my holiday, I re-ordered a a replacement, and authorised new payment before my refund arrived. I was assured that the shorts were in stock.
Days later, I received notification that the payment had not gone through, as the customer care staff had not noted down the correct card number. I telephoned, and gave my bank details again. I was assured that the order was now going through.
Days later, I noticed that no payment has been taken from my bank account. I telephoned customer care, and apparently, this item is no longer in stock, so I shall have to wait 28 days from now. They were in stock when this all began, but no longer.
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed by the service received from Poetry, and have authorised my order to be cancelled. Summer shorts arriving in autumn - no thank you! My holiday will be over.
I doubt that I shall use this company again.

The catalogues look lovely. I bought a top this Summer and was very disappointed. It cost £79. After one wash it has faded and lost its shape. The fabric feels like a dish cloth. The clothes come up very big. I had to go down several sizes. Not worth the money.

I have purchased from Poetry and sister company Wrap for last few years!
Their clothes are good quality, the fits are good and they wash well! Delivery is pretty quick and the packaging is very good! Lots of lovely styles and colours! You get what you pay for and although a bit more expensive than some companies, you get better quality that lasts longer! Give them a try!

Ordered several items but one never arrived till around 4 weeks later.. no email to advise of stock issue. The fit wasn’t great on anything so I returned everything. When the trousers finally arrived they had a obvious orange line right across the leg that looked like the dye had missed, but I actually really liked these trousers so I send back and ordered again in another colour. They arrived today and they are completely different fit wise.. really huge around the leg, I look ridiculous!! Like I’ve borrowed my dads trousers... so now that’s another thing I need to return.. what a waste of time.

I love the designs generally but the quality does not justify the price tag. I have now had several of the light-weight tops. None of them lasted more than 5 wears and very rapidly had holes in the underarm area. Like other reviewers before me, I also resent the fact that these garments are made in China, undoubtedly for a fraction of the price they charge. As with many things, Chinese quality is sub-standard.
