I love the designs generally but the quality does not justify the price tag. I have now had several of the light-weight tops. None of them lasted more than 5 wears and very rapidly had holes in the underarm area. Like other reviewers before me, I also resent the fact that these garments are made in China, undoubtedly for a fraction of the price they charge. As with many things, Chinese quality is sub-standard.

I loved the look but buying clothes made in China has proved very disappointing. Returns are at your own expense and the quality is not always as advertised. There is also the question of their human rights violations. I cannot recommend

Love the styles, but terrible quality, although washed by hand once, their jumpers shrink and their Jersey tops are like rags after one wash, plus made in China as mentioned by other reviews. No free postage, no matter what you spend, which is a no no. Will not buy from again as the choice and quality from other companies extensive.

I ordered one item of clothing from this company. Ever since then I have been getting several thick mail-in catalogues every month from various companies who make ugly clothing. To stop the unsolicited mail, each company needs to be contacted separately. Some of the companies that now regularly send me unwanted catalogues don't even offer an option to stop the unsolicited mail.

I'm annoyed that this happened because I always uncheck boxes that offer to sell my address to additional companies. What a horrible service from poetryfashion.

These beautiful clothes only come in up to size 10 when the average American woman is a size 14. If they would be more inclusive they would sell more clothes!!!

Not at all impressed so far. The first time I have ordered from this company. Service is too slow. I have ordered from other places and delivery is free and its on its way in a couple of days. Not so with Poetry! I am still waiting for despatch confirmation and they are charging 4.95 for the privilege of slow comms and delivery (most doing free delivery during covid 19 especially...). So all in all not impressed so far - disappointed actually. Wouldn't order again if it takes this long to process.

I purchased a dress from Poetry the end of January. It got stuck in Customs. Customer Service was terrific. They helped track down the parcel. They kept me informed. They refunded the shipping fee. And eventually they sent me a 2nd dress. I have never had such outstanding customer service. The quality of the dress(s) when it arrived was amazing. Unfortunately, it was too large and I had to return it(them). I would buy from them again without any hesitation.

I’ve placed several orders in past year because my wife loves the style and quality of the clothes. As the male buyer, I have been hugely impressed by: a) I am only charged when the order is shipped; b) honest information on website about stock & availability; c) delayed items are charged and shipped separately; d) returns and refunds are processed quickly & efficiently. This is exactly how you should run online service. No other company has matched this level of service for me this year. Hugely impressed and total faith in Poetry. Respect!

I am very disappointed to read that clothes are made in China. I will NOT be buying anything from your store now as I do not want anything from China. Its a great shame as I do like the clothes. Can you not make them in the UK NOW, the prices are expensive for being made there, the prices should reflect how much they should cost if made in the UK.

I've purchased several times from Poetry both in store and online and have always been very happy with the quality of their clothing. It's not easy finding natural fabrics in most of the shops so I will definitely be back. Hope you've managed to weather the Covid storm Poetry as we need companies like yours amongst the rubbish on the high street.

I've been bombarded with Poetry's catalogues (not sure why) for some time now, and finally decided to buy a top that looked great. Ordered in the belief that it was in stock, then got a message telling me it wasn't. So they had my money for more weeks than I would have liked. When it arrived I loved it, except the stitching was seriously sub-standard. These garments are made in China and it seems they outsource not only the production but also the quality control. As I wouldn't have bought this item had I known how poorly it had been made I asked for a refund not only of the purchase price but also postage and packing. I didn't get it, nor an apology, nor an explanation. So my advice is, treat this company with extreme caution.

Ich bestelle seit langem 1 bis 2 Teile im Jahr. Bezahle grundsätzlich auf Rechnung, und hatte noch nie Probleme. Man muss die Beschreibung zum Schnitt genau lesen und dann auch mal mutig eine Nummer kleiner bestellen- ( oder in den Bewertungen schauen) dann passt es 😉 Und wenns mal gar nicht geht kann man ja ohne Probleme zurück schicken.

Really disappointed with their customer service. My mother bought me a Christmas present from Poetry in the knowledge that it could be exchanged for something else if it wasn't right, as it clearly stated in their terms and conditions 'If you would like to exchange for something different from our collection, please call Customer Care'. I have tried to do this only to be told by Customer Care that thier systems don't allow this. And when I asked if I could have a credit note or gift voucher as most other companies will do in this situation apparently their systems 'can't be manipulated to accommodate these requests'.

So a note to customers - if you are thinking of buying something from Poetry as a present, think again as if it is not right you will be stuck in their rigid systems, despite what they say in their own catalogues.

The company doesn’t keep the promise of delivering ordered items within the timeframe given on their website. Moreover, they have only emailed me that my items were dispatched (10 days after the order was placed) after two interventions from myself and eventually the PayPal resolution centre. In my emails, I did ask to cancel the order because I haven’t heard form the company (another broken promise according to the delivery information on the company’s website), however, they decided to dispatch my order anyway (I assume dealing with the return will be another hurdle to go through). The clothes are quite expensive, so I am a bit perplexed by the lack of customer care...I live in the UK and the company is based in the UK. Delivery shouldn’t take longer than 5 days

Bei Poetry fühle ich mich gut aufgehoben. Nach dem der Paketdienst nach einer Woche nicht zugestellt hat, kontaktierte ich Poetry. Innerhalb 1 Std. hatte ich eine Antwort. Am nächsten Tag wurde mir das Paket zugestellt. Ebenfalls erhielt ich eine mail, in dem Poetry nachfragte, ob ich die Lieferung erhaltten habe. Das ist übrigens das 2. Mal. Im letzten Jahr ist beim Zusteller ein Paket verlorengegangen.P. hat mir sofort einen Ersatz geliefert. Später habe ich die verlorene Lieferung bekommen und zurückgeschickt. Es gab keine Probleme mit der Verrechnung. Mehr Service geht wirklich nicht. Vielen Dank

Katastrophaler Kundenservice: falsche Rechnungen, Bestellungen werden sehr unordentlich und sehr spät bearbeitet, Qualität der Stoffe und deren Bearbeitung hat in den letzten zwei Jahren sehr nachgelassen.
Ich möchte noch ausdrücklich zwei Mitarbeiterinnen aus der Abteilung „Kundenbetreuung“ mit Namen nennen, die mich nicht unterstützt haben, als es um falsch ausgestellten Rechnungen ging. Sie haben mich herablassend und sehr unintelligent behandelt.
Es sind Frau Annika Steinbach und Frau Britta Keenan.
Anstatt sich dafür zu bedanken, dass ich mit sehr viel Mühe deren Fehler ausgebügelt habe, haben sie mir geschrieben:

Ordered and paid for two items a month ago - no notice saying not in stock. Only told today that both items are not available. Very poor service

Alles perfekt! Hochwertige Qualität. Außergewöhnliche Teile!
Bei Reklamationen oder Rücksendungen keinerlei Probleme. Ich bestelle seit Jahren sehr viel! Wenn man keine Werbung will.. muss man es ja nicht ankreuzen bei der Bestellung! Sonst kann man ganz leicht abbestellen! Sehr empfehlenswertes Geschäft! Sehr freundliche Kommunikation!

Müllt einen mit Werbung zu.

Ich habe einmal, vor ca einem jahr bestellt und hatte sofort nach meiner Bestellung von MEHREREN verschiedenen Unternehmen Werbung im Briefkasten. Meine Daten wurden also ohne meine Zustimmung auch an andere Unternehmen weitergegeben.

Bei meinem Werbewiderruf damals wurde mir gesagt, ich hätte ein Kreuzchen machen müssen, wenn ich KEINE Werbung möchte. Meines Wissen ist dieses Prozedere entgegen der DSGVO, weil man da zustimmen muß, wenn man Werbung bekommen will, nicht wenn man nichts will.

Und jetzt, ein knappes Jahr nach meinem Werbewiderruf erhalte ich wieder einen Katalog - schon wieder von einer neuen Firma, die mir auf Nachfrage sagt, daß sie meine Daten von Poetry Fashion bekommen hat.

Fazit:
Die Kleidung sieht ökölogisch fein aus. Das Werbegehabe ist eine Katastrophe - und evtl. nicht mal legal.

Ich werde nie wieder dort bestellen und hoffe, daß zumindest das Löschen meiner Daten aus der Kundendatenbank klappt - und leider kann ich nicht nachprüfen, in wie viele andere Datenbanken meine Daten durch Poetry Fashion noch gewandert sind.

Also ich kann nur abraten.
