I have just finished working with Postscript Antiques in the movement of furniture from a two bedroom flat. From the very beginning they were business like and effective in moving everything out of the accommodation. They were helpful in dealing with some challenging areas, particularly in dealing with not only myself but also estate agents and solicitors. I would be happy to recommend Postscript Antiques.

Simon and his colleague Darryl did an amazing job last week clearing my cousin's house in Plumstead in just over an hour. Nothing was too much trouble and a job I was dreading was done so efficiently and cheerfully. Five stars + definitely!

Excellent service from start to finish.
Simon was able to fit us in at very short notice to clear my late mother's house prior to building work commencing. It was good to know that some things would be going to a charity rather than just scrapped. And he advised which items it would be cheaper for me to either take to my local tip myself or to arrange bulky waste collection by the council.

Simon and his team were helpful and fantastic from start to finish in clearing a central London flat. On the day he and a mate arrived and did a brisk and efficient job job removing our "unwantables" which we would have struggled to do ourselves. Simon has recently helped us with the clearance of my parents' final home - a mixture of some antiques which the family could not house and the general detritus of life which we all collect. Simon could not have made it easier. He visited the flat and assessed the contents, he was more than fair in his assessment of the things he felt had some value and prompt and clear about the arrangements. On the day of the move he and Darrell arrived and cleared everything away efficiently and with a lot of good humour.
In looking for someone to help us there is a lot to consider and Simon ticked all the boxes. Someone who is knowledgeable about the items which have some value and is prepared to give you a fair price for them; someone who knows how to dispose of all the other bits and pieces as sustainably as possible; and someone who is kind and thoughtful and professional to deal with.
I wish we had another home to clear just so that we could use his services again and could not recommend him more highly for those in a similar situation.

Simon and Lea could not have been more helpful and nicer to work with. Moving out of a much-loved family home is incredibly stressful and emotional. Simon was helpful from the start, working with me to find the best way to dispose of a lot of our belongings ahead of a complicated move. He was very clear from the start about what he could and could not get money for and I felt his service was reasonably priced. I honestly do not know how I would have managed my move without them. I highly recommend!

What a gem
Simon is a true gentleman, professional but not afraid to get his hands dirty. No sucking of teeth or disrespecting family treasures whilst sifting through endless boxes. He is non-judgemental, knowledgeable, fair and most of all honest. He understands that some things are harder to part with than others but his kindness, sympathetic attitude and interest in an object’s history make it all much easier. There is no pressure. He has visited us three times and is a pleasure to have in the house and generous with his time.
A man with a van everyone needs to know about. So if you are having a clear out – don’t send for a box – give him a ring. I thoroughly recommend him and look forward to his next visit.
