Ordered on Tuesday 18th, paid extra for delivery and then NOTHING.. no tracking information, no confirmation. No goods ever dispatched as far as I can tell. Cancelled the order on Monday 24th and didn’t even get an apology. Save your money and use a company that actually values your customer. Very poor customer service!

Great. Have used this supplier several times and I find them to be reliable and have an excellent range of quality tools/ equipment. They stock good brands like Sealey and Clarke which is reassuring for important tools. Delivery is reliable and secure too which is how it should be for potentially expensive items. So far I can highly recommend based on my own experience.

Complete chancers!

Ordered a Trend worktop jig which is needed for a new kitchen contractor that uses 3mm insets on the worktops (I have several different types but none can do what this can). Price was extremely good (first red flag) and as many of you would agree it showed the classic '1 in stock.....order within the next 1 hour and 36 seconds for what appeared to be a delivery within 2 days!
I write this 8 days later.....within those days I have had 2 email responses (to my several sent) whereby someone apparently called 'Kirsty' (I noted with interest it says in small print on the home page they are rated 4/5 on trustpilot.......in British Indian Ocean Territory (trustpilot.io) so I somehow doubt 'Kirsty sent me an email! I got the usual BS out of stock nonesense.....BUT went immediately to their live web page and guess what......yup..... '1 in stock.....order within the next 1 hour and 36 seconds !!!
These scammers are nothing but drop-shopping chancers who use your money to buy stuff at a markup, spin you a load of smeely BS surrounding the ridiculous shipping claims which is clearly obvious what their entire buisness is built on. Example.....I advertise for sale a rechargeable toothbrush. If you buy within the next 1hr 36 seconds delivery will be within 2 days......you buy it but when you pay for it you are actually paying the toothbrush supplier indirectly BUT a portion of the sale price is held at the third party account (power tools direct).....then sit back and wait perhaps 14 days when the toothbruch may or may not arrive and you give up ringing their silly pointless telephone contact which is just a silly phone icon that haves you on the phone for 30 seconds only to be told they dont have an active phone line!!!! ANYONE fancy buying a rechargeable toothbrush? Hmmmmmmm

Ordered a battery charger on the 10th august, still waiting for it to be dispatched 8 days later even though their website clearly states "3-5 Working Day Standard Delivery Service". They clearly dont stock these products and it's just a drop-shipping marketing scam designed to take business from marginally more expensive portals but without providing a decent service.

It took a week before the hosepipes that I ordered were actually shipped out, and a another few days before they were due to be delivered (10 days in total).

On the day that they were supposed to be delivered, we eagerly awaited their arrival. However, later that morning, we received the following message from the delivery company, DX Express:

"Sorry we missed you

We tried to deliver your item from Power Tools Direct Online Limited today"

I couldn't believe it. We never left the house all morning, so how on Earth could we miss the delivery?

DX Express elaborated:

"We were unable to find your address, please book a redelivery with additional information to help us"

How is it possible not to find our address? There is a name plate right outside of our drive, positioned at eye level, clearly marked with the name of the house. There are only a few houses in our little street, so it's not difficult to find the right one.

I've now booked a redelivery for tomorrow. If the hosepipes don't turn up for whatever reason, then I shall give up and let them be returned to Power Tools Direct, and I will request a refund.

Very disappointed!

EDIT: The hosepipes didn't turn up on the second attempt. I received another message from DX Express:

"Sorry we missed you - We tried to deliver your item from Power Tools Direct Online Limited today"

No you didn't try at all. I'm told there was a calling card left. No there wasn't!! In fact, I was deliberately looking out for the delivery vehicle during the whole two-hour delivery slot. No vehicle showed up. What a woeful service.

Avoid. Paid for "express delivery" and hasn't arrived after stated timeline. Phone number goes nowhere and hangs up. Email takes days for response, to which they state the they're waiting for an item to be sent from their supplier. It has "In stock" on their website. I desperately need these items and purchased based on what their website stated - do not trust it. They've taken payment from my bank and I do not have these items 1 week after order. I've asked for them to cancel my order and a full refund. So much hassle for nothing. Avoid.

Very bad service even they don't have stock and still showing on website and its been more than 2 weeks i didn't received my ordered and some items they already cancelled from my ordered without informing me.

I have dealt with Power Tools Direct with no problem at all however this time I ordered late on Monday and paid for next day delivery assuming despatching on Tuesday and me receiving on Wednesday, I did not receive until Friday which was too late to deliver to my customer.

They despatched my order on time in perfect condition.

It was easy to order, arrived promptly, no problem
