The Clarence Theatre in Hamilton too small for the sound

Great lively show. Talented musicians.
The singing was drowned out by the music being too loud. Announcements were very loud but not audible because of the sound system.

Too loud. All three of us left at halftime due to severe ear pain. Maybe the small venue was too small for their normal volume.
The Eagles guitar riffs are complex and technically difficult. For the most difficult ones, often, timing was off, clumsiness was apparent, chords were missed and to be fair at times their renditions were rewritten to make them easier to play. However some missed chords were attempted and weren’t hit.
Overall it was still an ok night.

An outstanding performance. The artists masterfully honoured The Eagles and Creedence Clearwater Revival, delivering powerful vocals, tight musicianship, and an infectious stage presence that had the audience captivated from start to finish.

I would happily attend another concert and highly recommend their show.

Easy to book and total experience was fantastic.

This would have been 5 Stars, but where we sat Upstairs back row, had a bit of echo, so we struggled with the clarity of sound. We saw some seats available at the front of the balcony, the difference was dramatic and thus from that point on, the show became a 5 star

Really enjoyed the show and that it was a smaller venue (my eyesight isn’t amazing) so I got to see him still. Given my seat was at the back

Thje Edinborough Tatoo was amazing and the venue was so well organised.
Our disappointment was with AT. While they had staff at the Kingsland train station managing crowds and putting on extra trains this was not continued in the city with the buses. No additional buses were put on for people going to the North Shore. The que for the NX1 was ridiculous. Waiting from 11.20 until 1 am to get on a bus. Buses were every 15 minutes, so that was 2 buses until 12 and then 30 minutes after that, so that was another 2 buses. The bus that left at 12 would only allow sitting passengers so wouldnt allow passengers to stand!
We need extra buses for the North Shore after an event if you want North Shore residents to use public transport and not to drive.

A little hard to hear and see, the big screen, which was static, could have showed the stage then would have been much better

Tiketek is great, the theatre excellent the staff great. Unfortunately the show, although interesting, was little more than sales pitch for Tony Robinson novel, so we felt is was stilted and left at half time

Sound was excellent and Sir Tony was captivating from start to finish

I could have listened to Tony all night.
Very polished performance

Easy to get into the venue, the queue times for beverages and the toilet were not long, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great night out - one of our best theatre experiences

Very good musicians and backing band. It was good to hear from the guests as well. I thought the musician who was taking the Barry Gibb part struggled a bit with the falsetto parts but was very good with the rest. (Not an easy task musically I know)

Good show, beautiful theatre, effective lighting and acoustics.

Parking was without issue though parking fees were high! The lift took us directly to where we needed to be. Drinks (RTD) were a good choice and if you wanted, an ice cream on a stick instead ✅ Our exit was also without issue. The show was terrific thanks to Danny Buoy!
