Premier Gas Services (Coventry) Ltd Avis 

I have a Ukrainian family (mother and her 3 children) coming to stay with me - her husband has stayed to fight. Consequently, I needed a gas safety certificate. We moved here in April 2021 and one had been done in March 2021, but as it was over 12 months old, I had to get a new one.
I was told Premier Gas Services, Coventry, were doing these for free to support hosts and those fleeing the war in Ukraine, so I decided to go with them. As it was just over a year since we moved in I decided to give them my custom by having the boiler and 2 gas fires serviced as well - they quoted £180.
The servicing was OK but they wouldn’t give a gas safety certificate because the engineer couldn’t inspect the flue on one of the fires. I thought this strange, as the fire was only fitted in 2019 (all signed off as part of a new build) and I had a gas safety certificate from March 2021, so I had paid £180 yet still had no gas safety certificate.
I phoned the engineer who fitted the fire in 2019 but he said he couldn’t do anything for 4 weeks, so I went back to Premier Gas once I had cut an inspection hole in front of the flue.
They said they might be able to issue a certificate based on the photos I sent them of the flue, but they came back to me saying they would need to do a site inspection and the cost would be £45.
I queried this, pointing out that they offered a free certificate for Ukrainian hosts, but without success. I have paid the £45 but feel aggrieved, hence my low rating and determination not to use them again!

I paid £85 to have a bird removed from behind my fire only to be left with a disconnected fire and told it would be between £800 and £1000 worth of work to have a new fire fitted - Extremely upset

Great Service. Originally a boiler service but there was an issue and the engineers had time to fit the repair time in in the same appointment.

The engineers were polite, thorough and all round nice.

Premier Gas Services have just delivered an amazing service in what was a minor crisis. From Annette on the phone to Craig and his fellow engineer on site - they delivered a fast and professional service.

I cannot recommend Premier Gas Coventry highly enough. They came to my rescue three days before Christmas to fit a new gas hob and today lovely Craig fitted a new valve on my central heating system.
All completed to a very high standard by helpful and pleasant engineers at a fair price.
I don't know why I was paying for a boiler insurance plan which, when I needed it said I wasn't covered!
I have now cancelled that insurance and will only use Premier Gas in future.

The Engineer who attended was excellent and thorough. He was efficient and tidied up after himself. He was both polite and friendly and I was very impressed with the work carried out on both my combination boiler and radiator. Would be happy to use Premier Gas in the future.
