Like pulling teeth
Rather than switching insurers, we went from a once off annual payment to direct debit. Clearly there are multiple staff looking after the same account as we were asked multiple times to send they exact same thing. The ppsn would only be accepted from VERY specific documents. We were also asked for payslips from an 84 retired self employed farmer for proof of ppsn. The documents had to be printed out, filled in & photographed & returned. If I hadn't been looking after this for my father it would have been completely & utterly impossible. After I had been told that finally ALL documents were in order, my dad got a text message & a letter via posy to say they were going to cancel the policy with immediate effect. This was the worst, most difficult & challenging experience we have ever had .
