I have been with this company for 10 years . In that 10 years their phone has never rang more than 3 times without being answered. If the alarm is on unknownly I cannot get from back door to frt door without notice that my alarm is triggered. Helpful 100 % in every way

Every part of the service was excellent - from sales to installation to a step-by-step walkthrough of the system in the home. It was a tailored service and expertly provided.

The installation went very well and the gentleman was very friendly and extremely professional. I would have one gripe that’s the sales was very vague as we bought our kit through a add on SuperValu offering a reduced price but when the gentleman came to fit the extras came in in excess of 450 . There needs to be more defined pricing ie the sales staff should point out how much each item will cost if needed .

My experience with PhoneWatch Ireland, in the Waterford area, was extremely disappointing.
A salesperson, Tom, called to my door, unsolicited, on 10 March in the Waterford area. He was charming, polite, and very slick. He was not at all pushy, which is exactly why I let him continue. Had he been aggressive, I would have closed the door immediately. Instead, he built trust by chatting about all sorts of unrelated topics and came across as warm, friendly, and genuine.
I had no intention whatsoever of buying home security that day. But Tom kept dropping the price and eventually offered what seemed like an excellent deal. Because of how personable he was, I trusted him. While continuing the friendly conversation, he moved through the signing process on the tablet, whilst dustracting me, and I relied on what he was telling me rather than scrutinising the fine print.
When the PhoneWatch engineer arrived, the story changed completely. What I had been promised by Tom was not what was actually being installed. I challenged this and was effectively told that what had been sold to me in writing was different from what had been promised verbally.
Even worse, the engineer said this happens regularly, that salespeople will say whatever is necessary to secure the sale, and that customers are then left either accepting less than they were promised or paying hundreds extra. If that is true, then PhoneWatch has a very serious problem with unethical sales practices.
Six weeks later, there is still no resolution. I have contacted PhoneWatch many times, and PhoneWatch has only called me once to say "the matter is being investigated." That is nowhere near good enough.
A reputable company would have resolved this promptly. PhoneWatch did not.
For that reason, I will not be using PhoneWatch, and I would strongly warn others in the Waterford area to be very cautious before signing anything with them. Read every detail carefully and do not take verbal assurances at face value. Better still, do not buy from door to door salesmen.

P.S. Phonewatch's reply is to say " they can't find my account"! More imcompetence! I don't have an account, as you haven't installed anything for me yet. Indeed, despite my insistence on the day the engineer called to install the system, that I wasn't cancelling the order, but awaiting a call back from customer care to sucessfully resolve the issue and provide me with what had been promised to me by your salesman, Tom, you obviously just closed the order.
Furthermore, as you have a) my name and b) the town ( Waterford) and c) The name of the salesman, Tom and d) I was told as recently as 2 days ago when I phoned, that "the matter is still being investigated and that my concerns will be passed on to management and 5) There have been at least 5 phone calls between myself and customer care, including one with Sarah.
I provided you with my phone number, and email,as requested, yesterday, and still you haven't bothered to come back to me.
I made it quite clear to customer service, during our phone conversation just 2 days ago, that, considering my issue had not been dealt with in SIX weeks, that unless it was resolved before close of business on that day, I would be letting my housing estate in Waterford, my friends on Facebook, and Trustpilot know of the very unethical modus operandi of one of the salesmen, compounded by your utter refusal to come back to me with any resolution. Tom apologised. Phonewatch haven't and are just hoping I will go away.
That is not what customers expect or deserve from a reputable, trustworthy company. Given my extreme patience over six weeks, , given that Tom apologised for misleading me, whilst I was on speakerphone in front of the engineer, your silence speaks volumes.

I feel sorry for the hard working engineers who have to deal with the fallout when they arrive at customers' homes.

The alarm I have now is inferior to what I had previously. Where before I had an alarm on my safe, this is now no longer an option. Also, what was installed in the rest of the house means I am not fully secure and need to get a technician back out to correct it. Not happy.
