I've been extremely impressed with Primal Strength. The adjustable dumbbells are perfect for a home gym where space is limited. They feel incredibly solid, are easy to adjust, and the build quality is excellent. They've allowed me to have a full range of weights without filling the room with multiple sets of dumbbells.

I also purchased the adjustable bench, which is exceptionally well made and feels built to last. My only minor suggestion would be a slightly wider stabilising plate on the front section of the central leg, as this would help reduce a small amount of rocking on certain surfaces. That said, it's a very minor point and doesn't detract from the overall quality.

Overall, the quality of Primal Strength equipment is unmatched in my experience. Premium products, excellent engineering, and ideal for anyone serious about building a high-quality home gym.

The installation team also deserve huge credit. They did an amazing job — turned up on time, worked hard, were professional throughout, and the attention to detail was excellent. They took real pride in their work and left everything looking spot on.

Delivery was terrible. FedEx went to wrong address 3 times and no way to communicate with them.

Ordered plates that were pre order for July. Spoke with someone at Primal about this and they were able to sort delivery out for me and received the plate a couple of days later!

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish.

I originally bought my dumbbells from Primal a few years ago, and recently ordered some gym mats from them too. Delivery was on time, and the communication throughout was spot on.

There was a small issue when one of the mats arrived damaged, but after getting in touch, Caitlin responded almost immediately and offered to replace it straight away. At the time, I decided to see if I could make it work myself instead.

A few months later, when I finally got around to fitting the flooring (20 x 1m x 1m mats), I managed to use the damaged mat as I needed to cut some pieces down anyway. However, I ended up two mats short. I contacted Caitlin again to order the additional mats, and she kindly offered to send them free of charge.

That level of customer service is genuinely rare these days. As someone who runs a business myself, I’d be incredibly proud to have a member of staff handle a situation like that with such professionalism and care.

First time purchasing from Primal Strength. Great communications, Josh answered my questions and told me to get back if there was anything else I wanted to ask, I found them very accommodating. I purchased the Air Bike and Hyperextension Machine and I must say the build quality is excellent, built to last. I would definitely buy from Primal Strength again as I felt valued as a customer.

Great support from Primal Strength. I accidentally ordered the wrong equipment, which initially was a bit of a worry. However Matthew at Order Management, and Caitlin at the Support desk went above and beyond to make sure the items were collected and replaced with what I needed. Matthew even gave me some good advice on what type of setup would work best for me. Thank you all!

The quality felt good out of the box but a faulty bolt for the stand took the shine off slightly. Have now sent two emails requesting a replacement to customer service without any reply - so post sales service sucks

I purchased a smith machine, rower and skierg. The equipment is fantastic, extremely robust, customer service is excellent, unfortunately I dropped a dumbbell on the computer of the rower cracking the screen. I contacted Leimsl Strength, within 7 days I had a new one sent out to me free of charge.

In my opinion Primal is the only company you need to deal with when purchasing gym equipment. From placing my order to it being delivered the service was 1st class.

AVOID - Nick the salesman is the pushiest person ever and the delivery team never turn up despite taking days off work to meet them.

Contacted for their free gym design consultation. What followed was a design a 5 yr old could do and wouldn’t fit on the space we had told them we had

What followed was very pushy hard sell from Nick. On and on he called and pushed. Eventually ordered a leg press off them. Didn’t come when it was arranged so wasted a day off work. Rearranged and had to have somebody there to meet the driver as I had no annual leave remains having wasted a day for the first date agreed

When it came the driver was rude and refused to get it off the lorry. Made my colleague climb on to his lorry to take it off the pallet in pieces while he stood and watched. He then complained that the lane to our house was small for his lorry. We have have lots of much bigger Lorrie’s here and the bin wagon that comes every week if bigger than his lorry!!

More hard selling and I agree to buy a Pilates machine. Same one story. Day off work. Get an email at 130 saying. Sorry coming Monday now in smaller lorry.

Appalling customer service and delivery experience. Ordered the new MRX 9.0 from Primal as I thought it was premium brand but I was wrong.
When delivery was first attempted the courier was unable to take it off the vehicle due to the size and weight. They advised it would need a vehicle with a Moffett(forklift). I contacted Primal that day and waited for a call back that never came. I followed the next day and was told the same courier would unbox the orders and split between two pallets - I questioned if this was possible due to overall size of the item. But was told it would fine and delivered next day. I booked another day off work and waited but no delivery and no contact from Primal until I called them. I then waited for another call that didn’t happen. Eventually they advise it would delivered again the following week by another courier who would have the equipment to unload it. Yet another day off work, and yet again no delivery. I contacted Primal again and was told their was mix up with courier but they would arrange delivery that day with another courier. That afternoon a delivery vehicle turned up and I was asked where is my forklift and how was I going to unload it? Yet another to Primal who advised the driver should be unboxing it on the vehicle and then unload it. Bear in mind this is nearly 900kg of goods. Driver rightly refused to do this. Primal then advised they could arrange delivery later that week, I advised the days I was available and they confirmed it would be delivered on Friday. Another call later that day advised no delivery company had a moffet vehicle available and it would need to be unboxed, but as gesture of goodwill they could arrange for installation team to there and help, for fee of £500!
I refused this and awaited yet another call back.
The following I was away for work and call
from wife to say they were attempting delivery again with 1 man. This courier was not happy as my order was blocking other items on his vehicle. He managed to get the order off the vehicle but it was too heavy for his trolley and it has scraped our drive way. Another call to Primal and I was it was courier mistake and they would call me back. But as yet no call back.
3 days holiday wasted for me, and my wife late for work as she had to wait for the unexpected delivery. And possible damage to our driveway(haven’t seen it eg and still away), and goods left outside for 2 days as I wasn’t home to move.
Won’t be ordering from them again wouldn’t advise anyone else doing so.
