Propermusic.com is part of the Proper Music Group Ltd and was launched as an online store in October 2011 to supply music CD's, Vinyl, Bx Sets etc... direct to customers at competitive prices with an exceptional level of customer service. We've been supporting independent record labels and music since 1988. Our main aim is to provide an online shop window for the kinds of specialist music from artists and labels that you would not otherwise have the opportunity to find or discover in stock elsewhere. Our sister company, Proper Music Distribution is the largest independent distributor in the UK and we are able to supply music from over 2000+ labels from all over the world, regularly releasing over 150 new releases or re-issues every week. We employ dedicated and experienced staff who provide a polite and professional level of customer service through our extensive product knowledge from working within the music industry for many years. All our orders are despatched using a first class or airmail service with Royal Mail (Tracked as standard for all UK orders, optional for ROW) or via our network of courier services. Your opinion matters greatly to us and our reputation relies on it, so any feedback good or bad would be greatly appreciated and most welcomed. Your total satisfaction with our service is our ultimate goal.

Not the good service I had been expecting.
I am confused. If their customer service is so good why has nobody got back to me. In retail a day is too long and its been two now since I reported a scratch on the LP I bought. No response. I tried calling but got an answerphone; I left a message. No response. If this is good service I'd hate to see poor service.

Quick delivery with excellent packaging. Double boxed in my case due to ordering multiple titles. Nothing to complain about at all. Weekly release emails are informative and prices competitive. Shipping costs prevent many purchases. Perhaps free shipping can be introduced over a certain amount (as some competitors do).

We have also moved to Tracked Services only for UK orders to help speed up the delivery time.

I recently spoke by phone and then ordered twice from Proper Music. Experience was 100% positive. Friendly, helpful staff who know their way around music and are also efficient. Great to be able to get hold of music off the mainstream on cd. And not to be asked to do it all on line.
