Propermusic.com is part of the Proper Music Group Ltd and was launched as an online store in October 2011 to supply music CD's, Vinyl, Bx Sets etc... direct to customers at competitive prices with an exceptional level of customer service. We've been supporting independent record labels and music since 1988. Our main aim is to provide an online shop window for the kinds of specialist music from artists and labels that you would not otherwise have the opportunity to find or discover in stock elsewhere. Our sister company, Proper Music Distribution is the largest independent distributor in the UK and we are able to supply music from over 2000+ labels from all over the world, regularly releasing over 150 new releases or re-issues every week. We employ dedicated and experienced staff who provide a polite and professional level of customer service through our extensive product knowledge from working within the music industry for many years. All our orders are despatched using a first class or airmail service with Royal Mail (Tracked as standard for all UK orders, optional for ROW) or via our network of courier services. Your opinion matters greatly to us and our reputation relies on it, so any feedback good or bad would be greatly appreciated and most welcomed. Your total satisfaction with our service is our ultimate goal.

What a difference it makes when it's done right
After a very poor recent experience with a similar purchase through a different retailer, what a difference it makes when it's done right. Quick and clear communication right from when I ordered. Then the item was posted the next morning, with full tracking and actually (with notification) arrived a day earlier than initially expected. The box-set arrived in perfect condition.

Shame about the expensive postage charge
I haven't shopped much with "proper music" previously, however I recently found myself placing 2 separate orders in 2 days.
Items purchased were at great prices, all arrived very well packaged, but...
Yes, unfortunately there is a but.
The postage was overpriced, in my opinion, on both occasions.
Apart from that, all else was good.

Quick service
The box set arrived in fine condition, my only quibble is that I asked for it to be sent after New Year’s Day as I would be away but it arrived before Christmas. Fortunately it was there on my return so no problems.
