We are a small critical care hospital in the mountains, I was recommended by someone else that they would do a Great job!
The first thing we did was install teamviewer so they could login and get to your server. next they put a utility on the desk top. Since this was a Shared File server it is available by all nodes attached to the network.
this meant that all antivirus needed to be shut down on each and every node on the network , pretty hard to do when you are working 24/7.
I do wonder because they took the ransom letter if they didn't get the decrypt password and installed it in the utility. I haven't got the answer on that yet. I do give them a 4 star rating because they did get us up and running, But we are still dealing with a lot of encrypted files .

Losing my data was extremely traumatizing. PDR came to my rescue. My only not so good comment on PDR was they advertise as providing 24-hour service, including emergency service, and when I tried to request emergency service no one got back to me. Also, they said it would take them about 20 minutes to assess the problem and it took them about 4 hours. In such a time of distress, 4 hours feel like 4 days, so that made my stress level even higher. Other than that, they did exactly what they said they would do.
