Gemma from Purdie Worldwide was excellent and did their utmost to ensure that my hand was held throughout the entire process. Not only did Gemma keep in contact throughout the removal and delivery, but they made sure that I did not feel that I was bothering them with silly questions. I was not able to be there to pack up my own things, but I know from my parents that the team who arrived to pack up my house did a great job. They were swift and professional!

From the initial contact to the move itself Purdie staff made it easy to get though the whole process, they showed great professionalism and humour particularly one the day of the move, this enabled everything to go smoothly without delays.

Arrived at stated time both removal men were very polite and friendly and very efficient in the way of undertaking the removal of furniture and boxes and depositing at new property. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending both of these employees of purdies.

We've used Purdie for every move since 2006 and have never been disappointed. From the original contact to quote the job to the move itself, everything was friendly, professional and efficient. The best possible price was given, the guys on the moving days were great, everything ran smoothly and all our possessions finished up where they should be and in the same condition as when they left the old property. Yes, we could do it cheaper doing it ourselves or with another company, but we've come to trust Purdie; it's hard to put a price on that peace of mind at one of the most stressful times in life. Absolutely would not hesitate to recommend them.

Due to issues outwith our control, we had to cancel our move booked with Purdies. Our email was sent 4 hours after the cutoff more than 10 working days as we found out late in the day there was an issue. No flexibility and no common sense applied when it has had absolutely no impact on them being able to re-book that slot with another customer. Charging us a full 30% to cancel. Nice way to make money for nothing.

My point is your t&cs state no more than 30% will be applied. I understand applying 30% on day 5 makes sense as I can imagine that is harder to fill the slot but to apply the full 30% when I notified you on working day 11 is ridiculous.

First class service once again. We have now used the Purdie team for a 2nd house move and as always they were fantastic. It makes the moving process so much smoother and a lot less stressful. I highly recommend the team if you are looking to move house. Worth every penny in our eyes!

We were guided throughout the entire process by knowledgeable and helpful staff. Gemma dealt with our shipping including our car from uk to Cyprus and provided us with all information and paperwork needed promptly she was always very friendly and pleasant on the phone and in person.
Ian, George and Aaron were great at packing our house up and were very considerate in how they packed our items, taking extra care with valuables, sentimental items and glassware etc nothing was too much trouble and any requests we made were met. They showed up each day on the time stated and worked very hard for 4 days.
The service we received was flawless and we would certainly recommend Purdies. Thanks so much guys

Great service and flexibility when my move was delayed 3 times.

Having arranged 3 quotes for my remove from house to flat, I found the Purdies Surveyor took time to explain in detail how my packing and removal would be carefully handled by them. He also provided helpful tips to ensure things would go smoothly. True enough, the packing was done very efficiently and on removal day - when the rain was relentless and negotiations went on until mid-afternoon - the removal team were friendly, patient and very efficient. My actual moving was made as stress-free as it was possible to be under the circumstances thanks to Purdies and their great team. Thank you, guys. Anne H.
