Everything about this cruise was first-rate--the crew, the naturalists, the food and beverages, and the itinerary. The first night we were welcomed as family, and by the end of the week we hated to say goodbye. The Galapagos is a unique experience where you coexist with nature in a special way, and Quasar maximizes that experience through hikes, panga rides, and snorkeling, all with a sense of excitement. You will look forward to every day and every adventure.

Quasar is an exceptional company. From initial enquiry, through itinerary planning and execution, the service they provided was top quality. We had a week on board the fabulous yacht Grace preceded by two weeks in mainland Ecuador in a variety of locations. Every accommodation was superb, every transport was smooth and on time, every person that we dealt with was knowledgeable, professional and welcoming. We have travelled a great deal but this was without doubt one of the best trips - possibly the best trip - we've ever had. And Quasar is, we believe, the best travel company we've worked with. We are not unique in this, many of the other guests we met on our travels spoke in similar glowing terms.

Fantastic experience with Quasar. Everything went as planned without any hiccups. My wife left her jacket at one of the hotels 2 days before we left and I don’t know how Quasar did it, but the jacket made it back into our hands before we left. They run a very smooth operation.

This was an incredible trip. Being on a boat with a smaller number of guests, 32, was 100% worth it. There was so much attention given to each person, with 3 amazing naturalists who kept us moving and seeing new things all day every day. Just when we thought we had seen everything, something new would happen. It just kept getting better and better the entire trip. The trip is so personal, with staff attending to every need and paying attention to every detail. Between the luxury on the boat, to the nature on the islands and in the water, I highly recommend Quasar - by far one of the best trips I've ever taken.

The cabin was comfortable and all the crews were so friendly and kind. We felt has been look after very well.
of course the nature and animals in the water and land are amazing, we felt so accepted by them, it is a lifetime memories.

The crew aboard were first-rate without exception. The naturalists knew everything about everything, and were eager to share. Nothing was lacking in the food and service provided aboard.

The Galapagos experience Quasar provided was second to none! The ship and crew of the Evolution was outstanding. The food was authentic Ecuadorian cuisine and was fantastic prepared by an on-board chef and assistants. The tours of the various islands were wonderful and the naturalists were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Overall, I could not recommend Quasar as a tour company higher and would definitely use them again for a future trip.

We loved it all- the naturalists, the crew, snorkeling, hiking, walking, panga rides, our fellow travelers, the yatcht, the food… all magnificent. Every day was different and every day was interesting! We have memories to treasure for a lifetime!

Quasar Evolution exceeded my expectations. First of all, the staff are incredible. I can’t mention everyone but I’ll start with the naturalists. Alex, Bolo, and Sophia were gems. Aldo and Cesar caught my vibe from day one and anticipated my food and drink preferences. The Captain actually disengaged some automation and let me steer the ship. The panga drivers rocked. The room was spacious and efficient. And all the expeditions were so amazing. This was a trip of a lifetime.

It was an unforgettable experience to explore Galapagos, an earthly paradise. We loved all the places visited on our itinerary. I had never snorkeled before and never imagined marine life could be so colorful and vibrant. I loved the activity and really appreciated help and dedication of Quasar’s guides to make me comfortable in the water. It ended up being my favorite activity.

I want to make a special recognition to the dedication, knowledge and experience of the guides. This allowed us to discover the incredible beauty of the islands in a unique way. Passion for conservation and respect for the environment were evident in every step of the way.

We traveled aboard the Grace, one of the two Quasar ships. It offered great accommodations, excellent food and premium service. We felt very special with the care and attention received by the crew and staff onboard.

I will forever treasure in my heart every corner explored and every lesson learned on this life-changing journey. Thank you Quasar for this beautiful experience.

From our first phone call with Diane Schick, we knew this was going to be a wonderful experience. The M/Y Grace was top notch and the crew were attentive and friendly. Our naturalists, Monica and Cornelia, were knowledgeable, friendly, and totally delightful. We enjoyed all of the activities and excursions, meals were very good, and we liked the cerremony of mimosas as we crossed the equator one morning. We also did a pretrip with Quasar Amazon at Sacha Lodge and a post trip to Machu Picchu with Quasar Peru. We were so tired but happy upon our return home as the pace was rigorous for those of us in our early 70s but we did it and loved it! Highly recommend that you call Diane at Quasar and schedule your trip of a lifetime!!

From the pre-planning phase of a trip to the Galapagos to the final day we departed the country, we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience with Quasar Expeditions. They patiently and thoroughly answered all our questions prior to the trip and once begun, everything was delivered as planned.
Our chosen ship, the Grace, is truly the gem of the Galapagos fleet of cruise ships but this is not only the ship itself, but the entire crew and the naturalist guides that they hire. It is obvious that everyone involved in the Quasar family is invested in being the best in the small cruise ship industry, not only in the Galapagos, but in the world. Although the price point for the Grace or Evolution might seem high, the quality of the experience from start to finish, is worth every penny. The pre and post cruise experiences were equally well-delivered and make for great bookends to a fabulous week on the ship. Would highly recommend working with Quasar to fulfill your South American adventures.

Entire staff of ship welcoming, helpful and friendly, from the captain to the servers. The three naturalists were knowledgable & fun. Twice a day Excursions were always rewarding. All snorkeling was basically like swimmimg in an aquarium, with sea horses, sharks, starfish and huge schools of fish. Our land hikes brought us up close to birds and iguanas, sea lions and penquins. The meals were wonderful, always with frsh made salads and numerous protein choices, and snacks and fresh squeezed juices were available after every excursion.

The attention to detail, knowing when to go to certain locations to avoid crowds, the skill of the Panga drivers, and the knowlege of the guides/naturalists about the unique wildlife. That said, I was a little disappointed with the one day when we went to the Darwin Center and then to the "ranch/farm" to see the Tortoises, as we had already seen them "in the wild", but it appeared as though every trip/boat was in some way "required" to do those activities. Would have preferred a snorkeling option for the afternoon on Thursday.

Hearing our personal Naturalist, say "strong swimmers in", as we dove into a pod of 2,000 plus of dolphins in the open ocean, was exactly what he said, "a once in a lifetime event". The Evolution was exactly what we wanted with a staff that were attentive to your every need and made you felt like family.

We had an amazing trip to the Galapagos with Quasar - the boat, the crew, and the food were all fantastic. We saw so much wildlife with guides who were incredibly knowledgeable and ensured that we saw as much as we possibly could. We couldn't ask for a better experience.

Absolutely nothing I can fault. First-class experience in every way.
