Poor service

If I could give 0 stars I would do, before booking read terms and conditions, broke things in my house costing me hundreds of pounds to repair and replace, refused to compensate me as never contacted them in 24 hours

After a reply it was reported on my side in 5 days not 7, your drivers will admit there faults if you asked them and there is evidence from the day that has not been altered

Thank you for your feedback. We always encourage customers to carefully read the Terms and Conditions before booking - not because there are any surprises, but because our terms follow standard industry practices, particularly in relation to claims and insurance procedures.

In your case, the damage was reported 5 days after the booking ended. Unfortunately, this falls well outside the required 24-hour reporting window clearly stated in our terms. This isn’t an arbitrary rule - insurance companies require prompt notification in order for a claim to be valid. If the driver is not informed in time, they lose the ability to claim on their side too.

It’s also a matter of common sense: after several days, it's impossible to verify what happened, especially since only the customer has access to the property during that time. As extreme as it may sound, anything could happen in 5 days - and it would be unfair to hold someone responsible without clear, timely evidence.

We understand that damages are frustrating, but timely communication is essential to help us help you.

As for driver admitting the fault - we asked them and they said there was no damage caused by them.

Driver arrived on time. He was friendly, respectful, efficient and careful with my belongings. The online booking system was easy to use, pricing transparent. I will use this service again and recommend 100%

Five stars - excellent service!!

Amazing company, best one I've ever used. The drivers and customer service are exceptional and one of the best I've ever experienced. I will be using them again, highly recommended. A special shoutout to Mark who went above and beyond to accommodate my needs during a last minute unexpected change of circumstances. 5 stars!!

3 hours late, no apologies, thoroughly unpleasant

On 5 June I booked a van and a man for 4.5 hours starting at 11.30am on 15 June through Quick Van and Man to move my son’s possessions from Eastbourne to Tunbridge Wells. On 11 June the man I had carefully selected for his reviews called to say that he could no longer do the move but Quick Van and Man would supply a replacement.
At 11.30 on 15 June there was no sign of the van and calls to the driver went unanswered, at 11.45 I called the support line, the lady said she could source another van and man in an hour and I got an email to say my booking was changed to 12.50.
At circa 12.15 I got a call from the booked driver to say that he had lost his phone and was in London (so he could never had got to me for 11.30) and he would be with us in two hours, I got another email from support to say my booking was changed to 13.50. The support number went unanswered thereafter. The man eventually arrived at 14.30 in a very tired van with a broken rear door, no apologies for being 3 hours late!
I had shown on the booking form that the move was from a first floor to a first floor but in the event several people both ends helped to load and unload the van despite which the man grumbled that there was too much for one man and that I should have booked two men. In the event it only took 3 hours to load drive and unload compared to the 4.5 hours I had booked for, so what was there to complain about?
I suggested to the man that due to him being 3 hours late, which had caused a great deal of difficulty to me and my son as we had commitments that evening, and it only taking him 3 hours to do the move, that we shouldn’t pay him for the full 4.5 hours, no chance!
The man was unpleasant and unapologetic.
I sent a follow-up email to Quick Van and Man via their website, no response.
Do not use Quick Van and Man!

I am sorry about bad experience with the driver. Because the driver demonstrated to have an unprofessional conduct we decided to let him go so he will no longer serve any customers from our platform. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please see our email reply for more details.

The two-person team were excellent

The two-person team were on time, well prepared, careful, respectful and friendly. This was a much better option for me than the twice-as-expensive big companies that gave me cookie cutter estimates.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Van driver arrived on time, was very polite and loaded the van with care. Unloaded at destination speedily and with care.

Brilliant service

Online booking process was really straight forward. I did have to amend my booking and so I called them, and their customer service over the phone was great. The driver, Adrian was really professional, communicative and considerate. Great experience overall.

last minute requirement & really easy to arrange

I needed a van and man last minute for just an hour- I’m not local so couldn’t ask for local recommendations, but came across quick man & van via google search & it was really easy to find a match. The driver profiles and reviews are really good to help decide & recognise the driver on arrival! The payment is made via the platform or you can pay cash to the driver so it’s really easy to use the service. My driver Frank was great! Thankyou!

Once again quick man and van took the stress out of moving . I cannot recommend this service highly enough . Their drivers are 100% professional and they have only the job and the business best interests at heart. Top class again.

Top-Class service

Highly recommend. Recieved top-class service going above and beyond. So respectful and polite. Moving day can be stressful but they took that all away with their confidence and reassurance. Took control and didn't require any assistance. My belongings felt so safe with them, well looked after and respectful of belongings and homes and provided really large van with all necessary equipment keeping our stuff safe. Great communication throughout and made the whole process of moving smooth and managed really taking away anxiety. You don't get service like this from most expensive company's. So easy to book with all information needed. I am beyond impressed would recommend to anyone.
