Continues to be the best in the business! I’ve used realmeal in a variety of different situations like work, university and out in the hills as a compact, quick-to-eat and reliable source of nutrition and they’ve always done the trick! Most recently used them at the Yomp mountain marathon and they did amazingly!

The bars I ordered in the mixed pack tasted great and provided exactly what my body needed in the Scottish mountains. Easy to carry and consume on the go. Highly recommend. Top quality A+

This is a repeat order. I previously bought the x4 mixed box to see which flavour l liked best. It turned out the on l thought l would like the least was my favourite. The blueberry and almond is great and really useful for any long day adventures.

Just used them on the Fred Whitton cycle challenge, broke them down into smaller pieces and picked at continuosly. Also used a high carb/electrolyte drink to wash everything down. Didn't stop at any feed stations. Only complaint is a tad expensive. So couldn't warrant using them on every training ride/run. Recommend.

Really tasty and very noticeable energy increase when eaten. Superb flavours, moist for when you're deep Into an adventure and struggling with consistency. Great emergency food or just as food on the go. Highly recommended 👍😎

I used Real Meal Bars throughout the UTS 100K, and they were hands down one of the best nutrition choices I made during the race. The Chocolate and Peanut Butter flavour is absolutely incredible and easily the standout for me. What impressed me most was how easy they were to eat deep into the race when my stomach usually starts rejecting heavier food. They sat well, gave me steady energy without any big crashes and actually tasted great, rather than the overly processed sweetness you get from a lot of endurance products. During long ultras, having something you genuinely look forward to eating can make a massive difference mentally as well as physically, and these definitely delivered on that. The texture held up well, they were easy to carry, and they became a reliable go-to between aid stations. Highly recommend for anyone training for ultras, long trail days or endurance events where real, consistent fuel matters.

Brilliantly satiating on a long hike or even heavy stretch, paddle boarding. These bars always bring convenience when there isn’t. I used to pack ‘meal deals’ from supermarkets, and no I’m not looking back.

Energy that's Real
Bought these bars to try as part of my nutrition strategy for upcoming marathons and Ultra this year. What a find, these bars are easy to eat on the go and fit easily into my pack. Real food energy seems to help more than gels for me. Will be ordering more soon.

Let's start by saying these bars were bigger than I expected. 15 x 7 X 2cm (yes I measured). There's a lot of it. Which, if you can find a suitable pocket, is a really good thing. I've just done a 5hr trail run using it as fuel and I was never going to run out. I ordered the taster box and opted to try the blueberry & hazelnut for my first run. Really tasty. Not too sweet that it gets sickly, not too bland that it gets boring. There's a decent texture too. It genuinely tastes and fuels like "Real" food rather than processed gels or some bars. While it's not actually a real meal, it's as close as you're going to get without stopping at a cafe. Definitely worth putting in your backpack for (very) long days.

Lots of calories in them so it is like they say a meal in a bar. On a £/Kcal basis they’re quite good value.

Used recently for ultra training fuel. 10/10. Tastes great, easy to get down, convenient to carry and no tummy upset. Will be using these going forward. Big fan!

I always have a few of these bars with me, whether out on a long-distance trail in the Scottish Highlands, bagging peaks in Eryri, wildcamping in the Lake District or taking on an outdoor challenge anywhere inbetween. They deliver when I need them too – no time for breakfast at a 5am start, at the foot of yet another peak, or 40km into a 60km day, I'll reach for one of these. Being calorie dense and nutritionally balanced earns them a place in my pack, even when packing ultralight. In my experience, some bars (and gels) get REALLY hard to eat when fatigue kicks in, but these RealMeal bars still taste good. Pink Himalayan Salted Caramel is my favourite, but the Double Expresso+Hazelnut bar is the one I keep at hand for early starts. I honestly recommended giving these bars a try.

I've used Real Meal bars for over a year now, they're great to have as a snack while out running as well as out on day hikes and wild camps. I also take them away with me while travelling with work, rather than spend a fortune in a coffee shop I know I've got something with me which is healthy and filling

The macros speak for it self every bar has 600 calories plus they are filling and they taste good perfect for long runs and even a pre gym meal in my experience.

Back in August 2025, my wife and I completed the 'Great Norse Run', a 209 mile multi day run, crossing Iceland from North to South. We used RealMeal bars to supplement our dehydrated meals and to provide 'on the go' fuelling. They were easy to eat whilst on the move, taste great and easy on the stomach. We will be using RealMeal again for our upcoming 'Legion' challenge, 18.4 miles in under 6 hours with a 45lb load and also when we return to do the Great Norse Run again in 2027!
