Customer Service is appalling

Customer Service is appalling. They make it very hard to connect with anyone in customer service, they don't address your concerns, and the unhelpful reply comes from a (NO REPLY) address.
They don't refund your $90 even though they haven't provided any COUNSELING.
DEFINETLY NOT RECOMMNENDED ON ACCOUNT OF THE SUBSTANDARD CUSTOMER SERVICE & WEBSITE.

We love Regain Therapy for Couples

My partner and I have been working with Dr. Laskowski for almost a year in couples therapy and she has been a huge support in our relationship. We are so grateful for her support and wisdom!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Our therapist totally mishandled a very sensitive issue. They frequently tried to explain things back to us in a way that was completely incorrect. They recommended a domestic violence hotline because I cursed, and they escalated issues instead of helping us resolve things and make things better. I asked for a refund and they gave me 2 free weeks of access and then took away the free access and refused to give me a refund. I got a partial refund after a week of arguing with a grunt and a manager. At no point was I able to speak with a person on the phone or anything from customer services.

Edit: I already spoke extensively with customer service and the clinical operations team already said they were looking into it. I’ve since closed my account. I just want my money back, this whole experience was a ripoff and we have a baby on the way, plus finishing the basement so we have the space for the baby and my wife’s home office. We can’t afford to get scammed like this. I see so many reviews from people in the exact same position as us who can’t afford this but got talked into doing it and then had a terrible experience and/or couldn’t cancel. Your business model seems to prey on people like us.

Had two sessions, they got my card info and charged me for SEVEN MONTHS!

I signed up for therapy in May this year and had exactly two sessions. My therapist was ok and gave me some worksheets, then I got busy and didn't continue. I found out TODAY, December 2025 that I have been charged this ENTIRE TIME!
No communication from Regain or my therapist at all, no logging into the system, no texting, no calling, nothing. My therapist has been getting paid this entire time.

How can a company let this happen?!?!

I was charged 120€ and didn't even do any session. Asked for a refund and they are now stalling.

I will have to involve PayPal with these con artists

Unprofessional Therapist

This weekend, the therapist provided horrible service. I'm doing counseling for couples. The therapist was rude, disrespectful, and condescendingly used words and expressions in Spanish, because I wanted to say something, but she was saying these things, as if I did not understand what she was saying in English, since my background is Hispanic, and just because I was not in agreement, I was trying to clarify a situation. When I tried to explain that I did not feel comfortable about the way things were being handled, the therapist said "bye" and logged off while my partner was visibly upset (crying). Then this therapist sent an internal message saying she was concluding the counseling process, and nowhere in her communication did she address what just happened or apologize.

Paid £240 and went through the…

Paid £240 and went through the onboarding process and questionnaire. The platform did not match me with an appropriate therapist who met the onboarding brief. Cancelled immediately and requested a refund. Their first response confirmed a refund would be processed. 4 follow up emails and 5-weeks later, still no refund. In worse position than when I started. No therapy and now no money. I would recommend avoiding the company and finding a therapist directly. Wish I had done this.

This company is scam

This company is scam. I wanted to start doing therapy sessions with my husband since we have a child on the way and now I’m down over $400 in subscription charges?? I only did one session and was under the impression I paid $80 per session. Not $80 per week! In this economy we are scamming people like this?? We have a child on the way and need all the money we can get, this is absurd. I better absolutely get my money back so help me god. How can a company get away with this kind of crap? Taking advantage of people in need of help. Completely unethical.

Therapists are hit and miss

Therapists are hit and miss. Previous therapist was inflexible, current one is good but this is ruined by how terrible the app is!! You go to join a video call only for it to be a blank screen. By the time you know, 15 mins has gone.

Not worth the £250 you pay a month. On top of that, I've been locked out of my account for weeks despite money still coming out of my account. You wonder what they actually use the money for. Better to cancel and pay the therapist directly!

Keine Termine bei 70€/woche

70€/Woche, dafür gibt es kaum freie Termine, teilweise nur sehr spät abends oder 05:30 Uhr am Morgen.
Wir wollten es als Paar nutzen und den Account zu teilen/gemeinsam teilzunehmen war nicht möglich. Auch die Applikation ist umständlich und keine schöne Nutzeroberfläche.

Kann nur abraten.

A Billing scam and causes more stress

Similar to other reviews on here, the payment system is awful. There is no information on withdrawing your application despite being in the T&Cs on sign up.
I’ve contacted customer services and keep getting automated responses with no follow up to process the refund. I have now been charged for services not used and no therapist found.

AVOID! Sneaky auto-payments.

My former finacee signed us up for a session, then didn't follow through. I've never even interacted with regain and they've been CHARGING ME $65 PER WEEK FOR IT. I finally found what has been sucking money out of my account for a few months and it's regain. I suspect that I've been charged well over $1000 for NOTHING. It's ridiculous, making money on people for no service, no reason, other than somebody not noticing an automatic payment that was charged without further notice. AVOID!

Great therapist and great service

Me and my girlfriend live together and were having some issues. We started doing sessions using Regain.us, and our therapist, Jack Rose, was AMAZING: very knowledgeable, friendly, understanding, supportive. He always knew what to ask us and how to approach delicate topics. We could not recommend him more, he has really helped us incredibly.

On top of that the customer support was great: all my emails were answered within less than 24h (even on weekends), and John H., the employee who assisted me, was always extremely helpful, friendly, and made things very uncomplicated.

I seriously could not recommend them more. Everyone from Regain.us that I had any contact with seemed to be very engaged and trying their best to actually help people out. I am a very satisfied customer for sure.

Horrible Horrible experience

Horrible Horrible experience. My husband & I had our first(and also last) couples therapy session. The therapist they matched us with was unprofessional, used profane language, proceeded to tell us that their field was part of the problem on why society is they way it is right now. It was one of the most bizarre, unprofessional, disturbing and nonproductive encounters we’ve had. We would absolutely not recommend using it.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. We paid for 5 sessions had 4 then on the 5th one they would not let us log in and have the session without paying for an additional month. We were not going to continue so there wasn’t a need for that. This company has no way to talk to a live person and will only respond via email. That is unacceptable and honestly disgusting. Where are their morals? Anyways lots of emails sent yet only response I got was “you’ve had 5 sessions” which is untrue. NEVER use better help or regain. They are scam artists.
