Awful and full of sh**, they not wort 1/4 of a star. Very bad communication on text and email they don't have any interest to rent a house show on there website: rentals.ca (Ottawa). it took 2 week to get a hole of them ,them they tell us that someone rent the house that we ask for but the house still listed to rent on there website.
It a scam alright i think they rent to there friend and scamer. Be carefull house owner!

They don't work on weekends, they don't answer their phones. Support is by email and takes 72hrs or 3 business days. They accept payment but then delay. Just avoid.

I've listed my rentals a few times on rentals.ca and have gotten '0' leads/inquiries each and every time, as opposed to listing on other platforms where I've received several inquiries.

My paid listing on Rental.ca has been a disaster. First I couldn't get the ad to publish and there was no response at all from them to my requests for help. Suddenly the listing published, and I paid for a Promoted Ad, but now nobody can find my ad on a map search. I have written them and they claim there is no problem but I have had several friends do a search with filters and my property NEVER come up in the search. I have written again and no there is no response.

Place is a scam I've messaged multiple properties with absolutely no response and they have ads on their that have been there for close to a year. Maybe because they don't message people back but probably a scam.

Bad rental website that is Biased to Tenants and a breeding ground for scammers.
The company doesn't require any facial or identity confirmation of TENANTs. But they require proof of title of a property from LANDLORDS, a Driver's ID and other government proof. Landlords PAY the company to advertise their rental posting (tenants dont pay anything), and yet LANDLORDS DONT HAVE A BUTTON TO REPORT FAKE/SCAMMING TENANTS. this website is so BIASED to favor real & fake tenants. Its almost not WORTH PAYING for advertisement because 50% of the time you don't know if they are fake or real tenants. I made several complaints about this, and they have done nothing for a year now. I'm actively looking for other websites/companies to advertise my rental because rentals.ca has proven to be UNRELIABLE in finding REAL tenants only, and they have NO features to report bad/fake/mean tenants. everything is tailor to favor the tenants ONLY, not the landlord who pays the company...its so backwards.

I already experienced at least 2 scammers using the phone number I posted on my ad to contact me, pretending to be a fake tenant and try to walk me to a scam...

I don't know what's wrong with the website. Every time there's some issue when you try to view a property, it's not user friendly at all.

they have somewhat of a narrow selection of properties but my biggest issue is it doesnt seem to have responsive landlords. I have messaged 4 properties for more information and not heard a single thing back. Frustrating

I have never had so many scam emails and called until I used this site

Absolutely woeful customer support. I have literally emailed and called them about 10 times and have a zero response on either channel. I wouldn't mind so much if this was a free service, but I've paid $35 for my listing, Which hasn't been approved yet but equally does not come with a reason why.

Scam of a company. I do have a legitimate place for rent and they refuse to post saying they cannot give explanation as to why, to try and get you to pay. I'm fine with paying to post, but I don't like sneaky business practices.

This company listed my property for rent when I DID NOT place an ad. My property is being used by scammers and Rentals.ca will not reply to my emails or phone messages to have it de-listed. This company is a complete scam. You can list a property without any ID or ownership documents. A scammers dream come true. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. you have been warned!
